My last ditch attempt to make Sunki less of a blub and to kick start my muse once more. The last time Sunki had snuck onto the tribe lands, she had been fortunate to encounter someone that she knew from the Great Tribe, who would not rat her out to the Guardians nearby. He had been kind enough with that small gesture. But now, the woman wanted to risk going back, even at the height of the conflict in hopes of finding more people that were against the cruelty going on in the branch of her home tribe. She still could not fully believe that Maska would be so heartless like this.. Sunki knew the traditions that had would give a chief his mantle, but the spirits never protested openly against his leadership of the tribe. They had never protested, not from what she could tell. Una certainly never openly told her he was an unworthy man to hold that right. There had been so little indication from her. But that was a logic clearly lost. War gripped the southeast and the woman was lost. She had come from raids and bloodshed to full frontal war and even more bloodshed. She slipped past the fence, careful to edge around the perimeter of the lands she had been just beginning to familiarize herself with. So much of it was still foreign to her. But thankfully, most of the landmarks had been easy to distinguish. She had just come to the cornfields, which were still high, taller than her by a scant few inches. Even so, she hunched slightly, slowly following the edge of the corn, hoping to find someone near by to attend her. And it still left her plenty of room to flee to the fence if it was someone clearly not willing to hide her temporarily. .sunkifog b {font-weight:normal; color:#ddc6a3; letter-spacing:.5px;line-height:16px;text-shadow:#a78d6b 0px 0px 3px; } .sunkifog .ooc {padding: 5px 60px 5px 60px; font-family:verdana, sans-serif; font-size:12px; color:#ddc6a3; text-align:center; text-shadow:#a58e6c 0px 1px 1px;} .sunkifog p {text-indent:25px; padding:5px 10px 0px 10px; margin:0px;} .sunkifog {margin:0 auto; width:420px; background-color:#161110; background-image:url(http://i.imgur.com/CJyCi.jpg); background-position:top center; background-repeat:no-repeat; border:1px solid #ddc6a3; padding: 220px 0px 10px 0px; font-family: Times new Roman, sans-serif; font-size:14px; color:#78705a; line-height:16px; letter-spacing:.5px; text-align:justify;word-spacing:.5px;} .sunkifog-b {width:422px; border:1px solid #161110; margin:0 auto;} .sunkifog .line1 {width:250px; border-bottom:1px dotted #a58e6c; margin:0 auto 3px auto;} </style>
- Gregor Aru - 09-17-2011

- Sunki Utina - 09-17-2011
000+
My last ditch attempt to make Sunki less of a blub and to kick start my muse once more. Sunki could smell him before she saw him, sneaking around the corn rows as she was. Her eyes were peering over the corn as she stood as straight as she could and jumped lightly. The sheer cloth skirt she wore around her waist moved with her, beads from her woven belt clinking lightly. Then she could smell his presence, like a scent she had never smelt before, that was thick with old blood. She sent her ice blue eyes in his direction, widening as she saw him walking toward her. Clearly, Sunki had been given away and he saw her standing there. At the distance, she could not tell what he wanted, nor could she tell if he was friendly to her. She shrank back slightly, taking a cautious step behind her. There was genuine fear in her eyes as she moved back. The closer he got, the more she realized it had been wrong of her to come here now, in the height of the war against her home. She should have stayed away. And the look in this monstrous tower of a man's eyes was more than enough motivation for her. Sunki spun on her heals and began to run, wondering how to save herself. She knew the forest would save her, but maybe the corn would be dense enough to be lost in. Choosing, she slipped into the trees, knowing that once she reached the fence and beyond it, she might be safe. .sunkifog b {font-weight:normal; color:#ddc6a3; letter-spacing:.5px;line-height:16px;text-shadow:#a78d6b 0px 0px 3px; } .sunkifog .ooc {padding: 5px 60px 5px 60px; font-family:verdana, sans-serif; font-size:12px; color:#ddc6a3; text-align:center; text-shadow:#a58e6c 0px 1px 1px;} .sunkifog p {text-indent:25px; padding:5px 10px 0px 10px; margin:0px;} .sunkifog {margin:0 auto; width:420px; background-color:#161110; background-image:url(http://i.imgur.com/CJyCi.jpg); background-position:top center; background-repeat:no-repeat; border:1px solid #ddc6a3; padding: 220px 0px 10px 0px; font-family: Times new Roman, sans-serif; font-size:14px; color:#78705a; line-height:16px; letter-spacing:.5px; text-align:justify;word-spacing:.5px;} .sunkifog-b {width:422px; border:1px solid #161110; margin:0 auto;} .sunkifog .line1 {width:250px; border-bottom:1px dotted #a58e6c; margin:0 auto 3px auto;} </style>
- Gregor Aru - 09-17-2011

- Sunki Utina - 09-17-2011
000+
The trees blurred by her as she ran through them. The blood in her veins raced with her, the insane pace kept up by her heart. It hammered in her ears and drowned out the sound of the rushing wind in the leaves as she blew by the branches they were affixed to. The green and brown kept going on the peripheral of her vision and her breath was getting rougher. She was designed more for speed than strength, but this monstrous man had the advantage of size and a long gait. He was so lanky that Sunki was sure he could jump rivers with easy. Even the fence would be little of an issue for him. She would have to find a hole or scramble over. He could just get a foot in and lift over like nothing else. But he caught her. Sunki felt the tug on her braid and she found herself shoot back. Instinctively, she reached for the long length of hair the man had grabbed on her, panic welling up in her throat. Despite herself, she growled out, "Let me go, brute!" Her feminine voice was laced with the bitter fear she felt, though the anger was lightly woven with it. If only she had a knife; she could cut her own hair from her head and run. It would have been a shame, but it would have confused him. But since he would not let go, she spun with the braid in his hand, attempting to scratch at his wrists. .sunkifog b {font-weight:normal; color:#ddc6a3; letter-spacing:.5px;line-height:16px;text-shadow:#a78d6b 0px 0px 3px; } .sunkifog .ooc {padding: 5px 60px 5px 60px; font-family:verdana, sans-serif; font-size:12px; color:#ddc6a3; text-align:center; text-shadow:#a58e6c 0px 1px 1px;} .sunkifog p {text-indent:25px; padding:5px 10px 0px 10px; margin:0px;} .sunkifog {margin:0 auto; width:420px; background-color:#161110; background-image:url(http://i.imgur.com/CJyCi.jpg); background-position:top center; background-repeat:no-repeat; border:1px solid #ddc6a3; padding: 220px 0px 10px 0px; font-family: Times new Roman, sans-serif; font-size:14px; color:#78705a; line-height:16px; letter-spacing:.5px; text-align:justify;word-spacing:.5px;} .sunkifog-b {width:422px; border:1px solid #161110; margin:0 auto;} .sunkifog .line1 {width:250px; border-bottom:1px dotted #a58e6c; margin:0 auto 3px auto;} </style>
- Gregor Aru - 09-17-2011

- Sunki Utina - 09-17-2011
000+
Her attempts were futile. Sunki could have scratched at his thick wrists all she liked, all day long, and nothing would come of it. The man regarded her coldly, as though she was a piece of meat freshly cut from the side of the kill. Her own anger filled her eyes, almost overtaking the fear she held. How dare he look at her like so? She had her dignity and she would not be looked at so heartlessly. She was a woman of the Tribe, and had been more an AniWayan than half of these filthy Guardians. She was not sure this one was a Guardian, but his sheer size and presence made it the only conclusion in her mind. He was no healer, nor a teacher. He was just a brute. And he had his cold eyes on her. About to protest again, the man's huge hand hit her face, hard and unyielding. There was no kindness in the hit. He had not held back much. He could have dislocated her jaw entirely if he had wanted, but he had chosen to keep her mouth intact. The man was too strong a hitter for Sunki to be standing after his strike. Mercifully, he had dropped her hair as the pale woman crumpled to the ground in pain. A hand instantly went up to press against her, now, smarting cheek. It would swell. She ought to be thankful he had no rings. Not that it would have been too much worse than it could have been. But she realized the mistake of her weakness. She was on the ground and that was no place for her to be. Sunki's eyes gained a fervent look as she tried to scramble up and away. .sunkifog b {font-weight:normal; color:#ddc6a3; letter-spacing:.5px;line-height:16px;text-shadow:#a78d6b 0px 0px 3px; } .sunkifog .ooc {padding: 5px 60px 5px 60px; font-family:verdana, sans-serif; font-size:12px; color:#ddc6a3; text-align:center; text-shadow:#a58e6c 0px 1px 1px;} .sunkifog p {text-indent:25px; padding:5px 10px 0px 10px; margin:0px;} .sunkifog {margin:0 auto; width:420px; background-color:#161110; background-image:url(http://i.imgur.com/CJyCi.jpg); background-position:top center; background-repeat:no-repeat; border:1px solid #ddc6a3; padding: 220px 0px 10px 0px; font-family: Times new Roman, sans-serif; font-size:14px; color:#78705a; line-height:16px; letter-spacing:.5px; text-align:justify;word-spacing:.5px;} .sunkifog-b {width:422px; border:1px solid #161110; margin:0 auto;} .sunkifog .line1 {width:250px; border-bottom:1px dotted #a58e6c; margin:0 auto 3px auto;} </style>
- Gregor Aru - 09-17-2011

- Sunki Utina - 09-17-2011
000+
The bits and pieces of foliage on the ground poked at her knees and hands. Several times she felt them break skin and she could smell the very slight scent of blood coming from her hands, as well as the stinging sensation. She managed to get a hold with her feet and almost rose to keep fleeing. But then she felt more tugging, and the man held her down hard. She fell to the earth harder, feeling debris prick at her stomach and chest. It hurt her, yes, but it did not hurt as much as what she knew was coming. This time it was terror that welled up within her chest, her eyes widening further in her absolute fear. She did not want this, she did not want to find herself with this man on top of her. He wanted to do something terrible to her. She knew enough, and she could scent his eagerness. He roughly pulled at her skirt and she felt the merely decorative material rip away as though it were nothing. The belt did little to keep it up and it was around her waist, nothing but a tool for his use. The moment he pulled her only garment off did the terror become too much for her to handle. And Sunki screamed. She screamed loud. Her scream was first just a savage noise, but turned into cries of 'no' and 'stop'. He was going to do it. And she could do nothing with nine feet of man on top of her and her only six some feet and so much smaller. She was doomed. .sunkifog b {font-weight:normal; color:#ddc6a3; letter-spacing:.5px;line-height:16px;text-shadow:#a78d6b 0px 0px 3px; } .sunkifog .ooc {padding: 5px 60px 5px 60px; font-family:verdana, sans-serif; font-size:12px; color:#ddc6a3; text-align:center; text-shadow:#a58e6c 0px 1px 1px;} .sunkifog p {text-indent:25px; padding:5px 10px 0px 10px; margin:0px;} .sunkifog {margin:0 auto; width:420px; background-color:#161110; background-image:url(http://i.imgur.com/CJyCi.jpg); background-position:top center; background-repeat:no-repeat; border:1px solid #ddc6a3; padding: 220px 0px 10px 0px; font-family: Times new Roman, sans-serif; font-size:14px; color:#78705a; line-height:16px; letter-spacing:.5px; text-align:justify;word-spacing:.5px;} .sunkifog-b {width:422px; border:1px solid #161110; margin:0 auto;} .sunkifog .line1 {width:250px; border-bottom:1px dotted #a58e6c; margin:0 auto 3px auto;} </style>
- Gregor Aru - 09-17-2011

- Sunki Utina - 09-17-2011
000+
There was no relenting. There was no mercy in this man's heart, if he even had one. He was a guardian, he knew who she was, he had to. He would probably kill her after he did his task and take her pelt to Maska as proof that one Utina was gone. Sunki felt his hands on her body and cried harder, the screams coupled with the streams of tears down her face. It was painful, even though he had not yet forced himself into her. His grip was rough on her body, forcing it onto the rough ground. She swore she could feel something prick her skin on her belly. The tears blurred the ground before her as she tried to get free. But she could not. Her whimpers were the only thing she could utter as he bit into her shoulder. Eyes shut, she suddenly screamed out in agony as she felt him force himself into her. Her crying was making her short of breath, but she kept on screaming, even as he moved, especially as he moved. Her arms grabbed out for anything, a rock, something. Anything to send back at the man, to beat at whatever limb she could reach. But all the while, she sobbed between shouts, wishing for help. Wishing for her brother to come and save her like he always would. .sunkifog b {font-weight:normal; color:#ddc6a3; letter-spacing:.5px;line-height:16px;text-shadow:#a78d6b 0px 0px 3px; } .sunkifog .ooc {padding: 5px 60px 5px 60px; font-family:verdana, sans-serif; font-size:12px; color:#ddc6a3; text-align:center; text-shadow:#a58e6c 0px 1px 1px;} .sunkifog p {text-indent:25px; padding:5px 10px 0px 10px; margin:0px;} .sunkifog {margin:0 auto; width:420px; background-color:#161110; background-image:url(http://i.imgur.com/CJyCi.jpg); background-position:top center; background-repeat:no-repeat; border:1px solid #ddc6a3; padding: 220px 0px 10px 0px; font-family: Times new Roman, sans-serif; font-size:14px; color:#78705a; line-height:16px; letter-spacing:.5px; text-align:justify;word-spacing:.5px;} .sunkifog-b {width:422px; border:1px solid #161110; margin:0 auto;} .sunkifog .line1 {width:250px; border-bottom:1px dotted #a58e6c; margin:0 auto 3px auto;} </style>
- Gregor Aru - 09-17-2011

- Nayati Utina - 09-17-2011
Playing Gregor makes me feel dirty :| Now to cleanse! He had been walking around Crimson Dreams' borders when he had come across his sister's scent leaving their sanctuary and heading back to their once-home. Nayati's jaw had set and fear had settled like a hunk of ice in his gut. What was Sunki doing? She was going to get herself captured—or worse. Without wasting a moment to tell anyone, he took off after his little sibling's trail. As he moved quickly across the no man's land between the warring packs, the Utina's heart steady began to beat harder and faster as worry scraped up his spine like a skinning knife. Something was going to happen to her, or already was, he just knew it. The exiled hunter had just vaulted the wire fence when he heard a loud succession of screams split the heavy air. "Sunki..." he said with a leaden certainty. Nayati broke into a run, frantic to find his sister and save her from whatever evil was being done to her. The man had not expected what his pale eyes found though. Some giant was on her...no in her. For a split second he felt a sharp pain in his heart, but it was quickly replaced by a blinding, white-hot rage. "SUNKI!" The painted man charged forward with a roar, and while carefully avoiding his sister, lowered his head and tackled the hulking beast right in the chest. The rapist clearly had not been expecting this, and was thrown backward. While the man was still gathering what had just happened, Nayati began punching his face with all his might, yelling, "ASGINA! ASGINA! ASGINA! .Nayati002 b {font-weight:bold; color:#dfddd9; letter-spacing:1px; } .Nayati002ooc {font-style:italic; padding:0px; font-family: Gerogia, serif; font-size:12px; color:#2b271e; text-align:right;} .Nayati002 p {text-indent:0px; padding:5px 10px; margin:0px;} .Nayati002 {margin:0 auto; width:337px; background-color:#a09786; background-image:url(http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v121/ ... ati002.jpg); background-position:top center; background-repeat:no-repeat; border:1px solid #2b271e; padding: 200px 0px 5px 0px; font-family: Georgia, serif; font-size:12px; color:#2b271e; line-height:12px; letter-spacing:.5px; text-align:justify;} </style>
- Sunki Utina - 09-17-2011
000+
The force behind the man's movements was strong and the woman could barely hold back her yelps every time he thrust. But it was not hard to keep screaming at the pain and the terror. It was so wrong, what this man was doing to her. Why was he doing this? What did he get from a single moment with her? He would either kill her or give her to Maska, who would do Great Spirit knew what to her. Her intention here were good but this was just painful. Una was no where to be seen, but the guide sure to be in misery and pain wherever she hid herself. At least the pressure on her chest and belly were gone, so she could get on her elbows to get a better angle to scream. In the midst of all this, Sunki heard her brother call her name and a flutter of hope filled her. He came for her. He did! She could not utter out her beloved sibling's name as he charged the monster in her. Mercifully she felt him leave her and she scrambled away, pushing herself against a tree. She managed to pull the sheer garment to herself, as she leaned against the big tree, almost curled into herself as she shook, tears continuing to fall down her face as she simply cried. .sunkifog b {font-weight:normal; color:#ddc6a3; letter-spacing:.5px;line-height:16px;text-shadow:#a78d6b 0px 0px 3px; } .sunkifog .ooc {padding: 5px 60px 5px 60px; font-family:verdana, sans-serif; font-size:12px; color:#ddc6a3; text-align:center; text-shadow:#a58e6c 0px 1px 1px;} .sunkifog p {text-indent:25px; padding:5px 10px 0px 10px; margin:0px;} .sunkifog {margin:0 auto; width:420px; background-color:#161110; background-image:url(http://i.imgur.com/CJyCi.jpg); background-position:top center; background-repeat:no-repeat; border:1px solid #ddc6a3; padding: 220px 0px 10px 0px; font-family: Times new Roman, sans-serif; font-size:14px; color:#78705a; line-height:16px; letter-spacing:.5px; text-align:justify;word-spacing:.5px;} .sunkifog-b {width:422px; border:1px solid #161110; margin:0 auto;} .sunkifog .line1 {width:250px; border-bottom:1px dotted #a58e6c; margin:0 auto 3px auto;} </style>
- Gregor Aru - 09-18-2011

- Nayati Utina - 09-18-2011
500+ Nayati had never felt such anger before; not even when Maska had had one of his goons beat Liliana. He felt as if his body might simply explode from the surge of heat that had flushed through him and the buzzing that seemed to vibrate every muscle in his body. He had the element of surprise, but that would soon wear off, and the Utina was not skilled in hand-to-hand combat. His skill was limited to the very basics and what his instincts told him. If the hunter had been thinking, he would have shot this man dead from a distance instead of getting into close quarters. Nayati had not been thinking though and would soon pay for such oversight. He saw the surprise he had gained melt away as soon as the bastard's face melted into a frightful expression of rage that undoubtedly matched Nayati's own. Then a hit he had not even seen coming pushed him aside like a child and made his brain rattle inside his skull. Vision went blurry and there was no such thing as balance for a few seconds time, but then he found his feet, but only saw clearly in time to have the giant he had engaged barrel into him. The Utina felt his back smash against the unforgiving trunk of a tree and the air flew from his lungs. A hand was around his throat and he felt his feet leave the ground. Nayati hadn't truly realized how large this wolf was when he had been kneeling behind his sister, but now he saw, and knew how greatly out-matched he was. Another brutal hit to the back of his head and then all of a sudden he couldn't breathe. That massive hand was clamped down so hard around his neck that no air could get through to his lungs. Nayati's hands wrapped desperately around the large wrist that held him up. I...have to...save...Sunki... he thought. It did not matter if he made it or not, as long as his sister was safe. His vision was starting to grow dark around the edges and all he could see were those mad, cruel eyes staring at him. A hand fumblingly felt for and grabbed the handle of his hunting knife strapped across his chest. He pulled it from its sheath and with all the strength he had, plunged the bone blade into the eye of the monster. Suddenly he was falling and hit the ground with a jerk. The pressure around his throat was gone and air rushed into his body with a loud gasp. Nayati pushed himself up on his shaking arms, coughing. His eyes had difficulty focusing, but soon he smelt the unmistakable scent of blood. The knife was set deep into the beast's skull and a large pool of blood was forming beneath the lifeless body of the giant. Without really thinking, the Utina grabbed the handle and pulled the knife free after a couple tries. He looked around for his sister and had to squint to make out her huddled form a few feet away. His thoughts felt like they were trudging through thick mud, but he knew they had to get away from here. "Sun-ki-" he croaked, "m-ust-go." Nayati was not entirely steady on his feet, but still he extended his hand that did not hold the bloody knife to his sister. .Nayati002 b {font-weight:bold; color:#dfddd9; letter-spacing:1px; } .Nayati002ooc {font-style:italic; padding:0px; font-family: Gerogia, serif; font-size:12px; color:#2b271e; text-align:right;} .Nayati002 p {text-indent:0px; padding:5px 10px; margin:0px;} .Nayati002 {margin:0 auto; width:337px; background-color:#a09786; background-image:url(http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v121/ ... ati002.jpg); background-position:top center; background-repeat:no-repeat; border:1px solid #2b271e; padding: 200px 0px 5px 0px; font-family: Georgia, serif; font-size:12px; color:#2b271e; line-height:12px; letter-spacing:.5px; text-align:justify;} </style>
- Sunki Utina - 09-18-2011
300+
Sunki did not watch as her brother struggled with the mountainous man, but she could certainly hear him. The noise he made was painful and it sounded as though that monster was doing something horrible to him. She recognized the choking noises; Nayati was getting strangled. Moist eyes flitted up toward the scene where her brother was in the mountain's choke hold. She croaked out a cry, muffled by tears. She kept crying in silence as she watched in horror as her strong brother struggled against the man who was the stronger. He could not get out, she knew, for all his prowess. She started to scramble for heavy rocks when she heard a roar of pain. A knife was in the monster's eye, blood pouring from the fatal wound. It just kept on coming, out of that one injury. It had to have pierced his skull and damaged his brain for it to have killed so easily. Nayati was struggling to pull the knife free of the wretched carcass, and the woman dropped the mossy rock in her hand to clutch at the tree. Her body hurt but Nayati's voice was more painful than hers. She had to get him and her back to the safe haven. Why did she leave.. "Nayati!" she cried, voice almost as hoarse as his. All her screaming had done a number on her vocal chords. Her body ached, sore from wherever the monster had his hands on her; her hips, shoulders. She hurt all over, but Nayati needed the help more now. He offered Sunki his hand and she rushed at him, helping him as much as he helped her. The tears were thick on her face and they kept falling even though she looked so grimly determined to bring her brother back. .sunkifog b {font-weight:normal; color:#ddc6a3; letter-spacing:.5px;line-height:16px;text-shadow:#a78d6b 0px 0px 3px; } .sunkifog .ooc {padding: 5px 60px 5px 60px; font-family:verdana, sans-serif; font-size:12px; color:#ddc6a3; text-align:center; text-shadow:#a58e6c 0px 1px 1px;} .sunkifog p {text-indent:25px; padding:5px 10px 0px 10px; margin:0px;} .sunkifog {margin:0 auto; width:420px; background-color:#161110; background-image:url(http://i.imgur.com/CJyCi.jpg); background-position:top center; background-repeat:no-repeat; border:1px solid #ddc6a3; padding: 220px 0px 10px 0px; font-family: Times new Roman, sans-serif; font-size:14px; color:#78705a; line-height:16px; letter-spacing:.5px; text-align:justify;word-spacing:.5px;} .sunkifog-b {width:422px; border:1px solid #161110; margin:0 auto;} .sunkifog .line1 {width:250px; border-bottom:1px dotted #a58e6c; margin:0 auto 3px auto;} </style>
|
