- Soran Aatte - 10-04-2011
Backdated to the 3rd... just a small explanation so that Robin doesn't suddenly have a mysterious bow. The morning was bright and cool, the sky was almost completely clear, almost an unblemished blue, but it was littered with a few clouds here and there. Autumn was now in full swing, the leaves of the trees turning gold and red with the season, all over small animals scurried here and there, collecting fruits, nuts and berries for the upcoming winter season. The sable female walked through all of this, her long mane pulled into a neat braid, her green eyes fixed on the upcoming borders. Show wore her knife, now with her as constantly as her canvas satchel was, it was fixed to her upper thigh by the leather strap that attatched to the holster, she walked quickly, she could not wait to get to the borders, she had come here almost two weeks ago, after greeting Blind at the borders and showing her around the lands, she had been coming here to speak to someone, hopefully her grandson about the war, she wanted to see if there was any comfort she could give him as Anu was trapped in the clutches on the dreadful Aniwayans. But she had not found her ochre grandson, instead she had stumbled upon her young great granddaughter, the excitable patchwork girl, it had been nice to speak with her, even if she was wary of the sable matriarch, this Soran could not blame her for, after her father's reaction it was natural for the small girl to be a little cautious. Soran had been surprised to see her in her Optime form, they were growing so quickly, the sable female's cheeks had burned with shame when she realised just how much of their lives that she had been missing out on, how much of her father's life she had missed out on as well. The little female had told her many things though, Soran had three great grandchildren it turned out, Robin herself, Linden and a little female named Felicity, it was rather wonderful to hear this news. Again the happiness had turned to shame when she had realised that she had arrived at Anathema with a bag filled with gifts for her adoptive daughter's newest litter and she had yet to bring anything for her great grandchildren. So today the sable female was fixing this misdemeanour, she had rushed home after the girl had told her that she had wanted a bow. The female had run straight home, she had found a branch that had been supple and springy enough for the task and had set to work on attempting to make it into a bow for the young patchwork girl. She had trawled through the library, hunting for any kind of information on bow making, working tirelessly on the piece of wood for hours and hours on end, finally she had managed to create something of a basic bow, but she had carved it with the tip of her hunting knife, creating patterns on it and even carving the young patchwork girl's name onto the bow. She pulled the string a few times to see if it would spring neatly and it seemed to, she was rather pleased, it seemed a good bow for a first attempt. The sable female had also made a small necklace for Felicity from one of the many strands of leather that she had in her room, delving into her bead collection to find the perfect beads for the young girl's necklace. She also found a book on arrow making for Robin and a book of adventures for Linden, when she had decided that she had enough gifts she had set out to the bordersof Cour Des Miracles, her bag heavy with the gifts for the children. She stood on the borders and called for her great granddaughter. .freebaug42 b {font-weight:bold; color:#deb6ba; letter-spacing:1px; text-shadow: 0.1em 0.1em 0.1em #ac5159; } .freebaug42 p {text-indent:0px; padding:6px 16px; margin:0px;} .freebaug42 {margin:0 auto; width:500px; background-color:#c58891; background-image:url(http://i.imgur.com/Zyd8h.png); background-position:top center; background-repeat:no-repeat; border:1px solid #520e0e; padding: 200px 0px 8px 0px; font-family: Georgia, serif; font-size:12px; color:#520e0e; text-shadow: 0.1em 0.1em 0.2em #; letter-spacing:.6px; word-spacing:.9x; line-height:13.5px; text-align:justify;} .freebaug42 p b:before { content: open-quote; } .freebaug42 p b:after {content: close-quote; } </style> WC: 633
- Robin Aatte - 10-04-2011
WC: 1115 The little patchwork girl had been playing around the lands since the early morning, she had yet to go and fetch Scarlett from the stables, enjoying her new made up game so much that the time had quite slipped her mind. Today she was fighting her new favourite imaginary foe, vampires, she had been chasing them upn and down the lands all morning, bouncing this way and that as she had done, pretending to fire a bow at them, oh how excited she was that she was finally going to be allowed a boy, everything was falling into place for her upcoming heroic adventures; she had Scarlett, the pale mare who she was hoping to learn to ride very soon, and her father had promised that she would be allowed a bow, finally she was going to be like her favourite hero, Robin Hood! The only problem was getting a bow, she had even confessed this problem to her sable great grandmother who had come to the borders, she had been looking for the patchwork girl's daddy, but they had begun a conversation and had both quite forgotten to call for him, it was not until after the dark matriarch had left that the little female had realised that she had not known what it was that she wanted with her father, she decided not to ask him though, he had seemed tense around the sable female so she did not want to upset him. In fact she was unsure why he had been tense around her as well, she didn't seem like a baddie, the little female had heard her spoke of her family so passionately so she couldn't imagine her ever having done anything bad, she had seemed so pleasant when they had had their brief conversation. But still she was cautious of her, her father was usually the one she turned to to know of right and wrong and if he was cautious of the sable female then perhaps something bad had happened. It was as she was playing that she heard the call of a familiar voice, it was Soran calling for her. The little female began to walk to the borders, long legs moving her swiftly, she was now free from wobbles as she walked, her Optime form being far more comfortable than it had been only a couple of months ago. Soon the little female caught sight of her great grandmother, it seemed that the ebony lady was holding something, something that looked promising, with skipping bounding steps she crossed the final distance to the sable female. She could not see what the sable female had been holding though, the woman had moved her hand behind her back, hiding the object from view, she padded to the borders, her great grandmother had stopped just short of them. <style type="text/css"> .robin-sdb01 b {font-weight:bold; color:#ffffff; letter-spacing:1px; } .robin-sdb01 .ooc { font-style:italic; padding:0px; font-family:verdana, sans-serif; font-size:11px;} .robin-sdb01 p {text-indent:25px; padding:5px 10px; margin:0px;} .robin-sdb01 {margin:0px auto; width:450px; background-color:#5a6694; background-image:url(http://i.imgur.com/hR6HN.png); background-position:bottom center; background-repeat:no-repeat; border:1px solid #665566; padding: 10px 0px 270px 0px; font-family: georgia, sans-serif; font-size:12px; color:#bbaabb; line-height:16px; letter-spacing:.5px; text-align:justify;} </style>
|
