- Zana Avaya Lykoi - 11-06-2011 ooc: near the mansion ic: Zana had been exploring the clan's lands again, this time working more within their borders. She knew much of the land but it seemed the clan had acquired more in the time she had been gone. The small woman stood full height in the field near the mansion as she glanced over the yard and garden. She had never been a greenthumb but she wanted to explore all of the clan's lands, buildings and cave systems. It was her duty but was also her safe haven to know all the landmarks and places that could be used for standoffs, havens and hideaways. The small woman frowned as she flicked her tail slightly, her mind clearly somewhere else. She was silent a moment before her mind slowly began to roll back to what she was doing here today. She ran a clawed finger along the edge of the wolfskin cloak that she had tied at her throat. The air was getting colder and she knew soon enough there would be feet of snow on the ground, making it harder and harder on the tiny woman to get anywhere. She was glad she had Saol to ride in the coming winter but she also knew sooner or later she would have to find someway to make up for her own shortcomings when things got harder. - Tedros Talik - 11-06-2011
- Zana Avaya Lykoi - 11-06-2011
Zana had heard the padding of paws approaching but she hadn't even bothered to turn and investigate just who was joining her. It didn't even matter to her at this moment, she was within her clan's lands and if anyone inside the borders wished her harm then she was in more trouble than she ever thought. Sheknew she shouldn't be so fair foolish but she was feeling a little reckless today. The small woman caught the scent of the other finally, a scent she didn't recognize, but there were many in the lands that she didn't know yet. It was a few moments before the voice called out and the younger woman turned her head. "Aye, it is. The safest place within the territories I guess.. in a way." She believed that she probably had the safest haven in the clan's lands, but then again who in the world would expect a clan mate to live in the hollow of a tree, but Zana did. High in the branches of an old oak in the center of the Grotto there was the nest of the strange young Lykoi of Inferni.
- Tedros Talik - 11-06-2011
- Zana Avaya Lykoi - 11-09-2011
For someone who hadn't really wanted to go to the mansion the first time it seemed that Zana had been moving around the location a lot lately. She had been lucky and hadn't run into Halo yet, aside from the scent of the woman still being present she would have thought she too had left, but Zana wasn't that lucky. Her ears flicked forward as she smiled at the stranger as he granted her a name. She didn't know the name but he seemed to know the clan, or at least relaxed enough around it. "I'm Zana Lykoi.." She said in return as she watched him a moment. She almost had missed the question as she had been thinking, but within moments she realized what he had asked. She chuckled as she shook her head. "No, I don't. I don't need all this space..." She wasn't even certain she could use all the space in the smallest of rooms in the mansion. She was curious about exploring the mansion some more, but she doubted she would find a room that would interest her more than her little den she loved. Her lilac eyes glanced from the mansion to the male as she asked. "Why?" probably already knowing the answer.
- Tedros Talik - 11-10-2011
- Zana Avaya Lykoi - 11-20-2011 Zana stood quietly for a moment as it was explained to her just why he was there. She chuckled softly and flicked a smirk his way as she stated plainly. "Waiting on an invitation, you would be waiting til eternity.." The clan was a grand thing, but manners, though great were not always used and you almost had to have a go getter attitude, which it seemed her newly acquired clan mate had more than enough of. When he asked if she had ever been inside she nodded and moved forward to the porch. "Well, you're not going to find a place sitting out here.. There are a few members who live inside. Grandmother does, and Halo..." She flicked an ear in annoyance at the second name. A burr in her butt that she hadn't seen a while but the prickle was still present. Sooner or later the circle would come around. The small woman padded across the porch and stood before the entrance a second before opening the heavy door and pushing forward into the interior, turning to make certain Tedros was following. - Tedros Talik - 11-20-2011
Hey, I've already kinda developed Tedros' room (if you check out my profile). If you want, we can continue this thread and finding that room, or we could wrap it up. It's up to you! Hope you're having fun at your thing. :O YOU'RE HERE AND THEN YOU'RE GONE
His red-colored eyes remained focused on the tiny Lykoi woman. He chuckled a little when she told him that there would be no invitation. Tedros knew that, he knew Inferni members weren’t notorious for their kindness, generosity, or hospitality. It still felt weird for him to walk into a Mansion without knowing who was inside. It was like breaking and entering into someone’s house… even if it technically was his house now, too. Zana mentioned that both her grandmother, whom he assumed was Kaena (as Ezekiel had said she lived here too), and someone named Halo lived inside. For some reason that name seemed to hit a chord with the female, and Tedros flicked his tail subconsciously out of curiosity. He hadn’t met a Halo yet, but he assumed there was some Lykoi relation. Ted made a mental note that something was up with this Halo, and then filed it away until he needed the information. Tedros Talik followed behind the Lykoi as she opened the large door to the Mansion. It was spacious inside. Dark, dusty, but big. It was like most of the buildings he had seen; decrepit and breaking down. But there were a few signs of life, first and foremost the heavy Inferni smell. “How many floors are there?” he asked, making polite conversation. He figured, if it was possible, he’d prefer to have a room on the first floor. Stairs were a pain for the coyote in lupus form. (WORD COUNT — 244)

She had not started it, but she wasn't going to let it rule her life. She had begun padding about the mansion while Tedros followed, one ear keen on his location at all times as she examined little trinkets and tossed aside junk in case something struck her fancy. Just because she wasn't going to live here like so many didn't mean she wouldn't find a thing or two that could make her life easier. She had bent down to examine a small piece of metal, a key of sorts when Tedros caught her attention. She looked slightly confused as it took a second or two for his words to strike home. She hated to admit it but she didn't have the answer either. "I don't know.. I haven't explored it all. There are atleast two floors.. maybe more?" She glanced over at him as she asked. "What are you looking for exactly?" maybe they could find it together, if he hadn't grown bored with her company yet. - Tedros Talik - 11-28-2011
YOU'RE HERE AND THEN YOU'RE GONE
Little knickknacks were scattered about, gathering dust. Tedros had found many things by doing what Zana was doing; picking through broken items in hope to find at least one nice possession to make it worth while. But he was not in the mood to do that today, and he did not feel right doing it here. Who knew whose stuff this was. Ted would rather explore an abandoned city. Plus, what would he do with anything he found if he did not have a room to put it in?
She told him there might be two floors, but that she hadn’t really explored it herself. This did not bother the male coyote; in turn, he actually appreciated the company. Since he was born, he had spent time exploring with his sister. Now, at six years old, he could definitively say that exploring with someone else was much more fun. ”I’m not really sure,” he said, honestly. ”Something on the first floor, I guess. It doesn’t have to be a huge room, but I’d like some privacy and some places to put things.” (WORD COUNT — 182)

He spoke honestly about not knowing what he was looking for and Zana scratched her head. She let her tail sway softly behind her as she tried to think of what rooms were available. She grinned a moment before she asked. "How close do you want to be to other.. old grandma Kaena lives down here.." She bet he probably knew who she was, or atleast knew of her, and if he wanted his own solitude then they would probably need to search down one of the halls leading away from her room. She pointed to one of the larger rooms not far from them as she grinned wickedly. "I wouldn't wake her if she's sleeping though.. she can be a bear at time.." She knew if the elder clan mate heard her she would probably have what was left of her tail, but she loved to tease the elder woman and often could scamp away just in time. She wasn't so certain if Tedros could, or even would attempt such an act with the old matriarch. |
