- Dixie-May Jackson - 12-06-2011
visiting ummm dated for today. meaning she arrived at about 2 a.m. last night. / +5! The stories of war between AniWaya and the other southern packs had filtered through to Dixie’s ears over time. Jazper and Anann spoke of it sparingly, and the young girl soaked the information up, wanting to know as much as possible. The thought of all of those who could be and who were for sure hurt by the war struck her heart. Surely the pack of AniWaya, who were now regrouping and healing, needed some kind of help…allies. Of course reaching out to others would mostly be the leaders’ job’s, at least that’s what she thought…however, she really wanted to help out in some way. And so she was going to, no matter what anyone said. .lovher b {font-weight:bold; color:#887b52; letter-spacing:1px; text-shadow: 0.1em 0.1em 0.2em #1a1504; } .lovher p {text-indent:0px; padding:5px 16px; margin:0px;} .lovher {margin:0 auto; width:450px; background-color:#524a35; background-image:url(http://i.imgur.com/aLHGo.png); background-position:top center; background-repeat:no-repeat; border:1px solid #0b052c; padding: 310px 0px 7px 0px; font-family: Georgia, serif; font-size:12px; color:#8b8162; text-shadow: 0.1em 0.1em 0.2em #; letter-spacing:.6px; word-spacing:.9x; line-height:13.3px; text-align:justify;} .lovher p b:before { content: open-quote; } .lovher p b:after {content: close-quote; } </style>
- Ulilohi Ehn - 12-10-2011
Hadvnivisdisgo?
It was a peculiar feeling, to go out to respond to the howl that had cut through the chilled winter air. Halfway to the borders, Ulilohi realized with a bang that it would be the first time she responded like this, as a tribe's leader. So many changes. In her old life, she had been a councilwoman of limited power. Well, no power, really. She was merely the highest pawn to the Chief, but could only offer her advice. Now, though she held the title of councilwoman still, she had all the authority in the world. Well, she still answered to Savina, Vigilante and Chief Aatu (and, she considered Claudius an authority too, even if he was not). But decisions were hers to make. The thought was immense, and heavy, and she disposed of it as she rememberd that she was still worrying about what response Chief Aatu might send in return, upon learning of Maska's misdeeds and her taking of the tribe. It could be good, and it could be bad, but worrying got her nowhere. The trek to the borders took longer than expected, but when she finally spotted them she found it in her to speed up somewhat. It was easier to get motivated when the goal was in sight. A rider atop a horse was all she could distinguish at first, but as she drew closer she could see that the rider was a strangely outfitted female. The two looked quite weary, and she hoped the wait had not felt like forever. She might have long legs, but it also required extra energy to move them. She walked right up to them, her height easily raging in front of them, making the differences in height between the rider and the on-foot wolfess somewhat less than they would be normally. Dixie was starting to fear that no one had heard her howling, and that she might have to stay on the borders of the pack for the remainder of the night. It was starting to get cold out, and the girl loved her horse too much to let him freeze out in the elements. If it was necessary, she'd take him to the woods and try to build a fire to warm them up until morning when she could try again. Duke was getting impatient of just standing there as well, and more than a few times the stallion tossed his head and snorted in protest. He wanted to get moving, wanted something to happen. Simply sitting there out in the open, waiting and wondering when someone would come to their call, did not suit him. While he was a calm and laid back male, he would not sit around and wait for others to come to him. He would go to them and get what he needed. .lovher b {font-weight:bold; color:#887b52; letter-spacing:1px; text-shadow: 0.1em 0.1em 0.2em #1a1504; } .lovher p {text-indent:0px; padding:5px 16px; margin:0px;} .lovher {margin:0 auto; width:450px; background-color:#524a35; background-image:url(http://i.imgur.com/aLHGo.png); background-position:top center; background-repeat:no-repeat; border:1px solid #0b052c; padding: 310px 0px 7px 0px; font-family: Georgia, serif; font-size:12px; color:#8b8162; text-shadow: 0.1em 0.1em 0.2em #; letter-spacing:.6px; word-spacing:.9x; line-height:13.3px; text-align:justify;} .lovher p b:before { content: open-quote; } .lovher p b:after {content: close-quote; } </style>
- Ulilohi Ehn - 12-18-2011
Word Count ► 277
While the femme herself appeared quite peculiar to Ulilohi, she marveled at the horse, whose looks were simply stunning. No doubt, this one was fell-fed - not like the work horses she'd seen in the stables. They weren't ill-fed, the AniWayan horses, but not quite as well cared for as this one had to be. Ulilohi knew little of horses, but she could recognise health when she saw it. This was what the female in front of her seemed to have a problem with: she was obviously very weary, and blinked a couple of times before replying to Ulilohi's question. The councilwoman smiled as she listened, nodded and replied with a deep, rolling and slightly accented voice. "Oh—yes, I remember Jazper, and new friendships are always welcome here. What is your name?". We certainly need friendships, Ulilohi thought to herself. It was very uplifting that other packs were striving to be on good terms with them, much as she had gone to make new friends (or repair wounds) in Cour des Miracles and Crimson Dreams. Ulilohi gestured with her arm, feeling confident that this female was no threat, but genuine in her goald for coming here."Come, I can see that you're weary. we can head into the Village if you'd like." The trek to the Village was a long one, but with food and seating awaiting them at the end. "We also have a stable for your horse, if you would like to rest him." It would be a little bit of extra walking, but not too much, luckily. She wondered why the stables had not been built in the Village - it was so impractical! .sisters b {font-weight:normal; color:#544f8e; text-shadow:#095700 0px 0px 2px; } .sisters .ooc {font-style:italic; padding: 10px; font-family:verdana, sans-serif; font-size:11px; color:#a07387; text-align:center; } .sisters p {text-indent:25px; padding:5px 15px 0px 15px; margin:0px;} .sisters {margin:0 auto; width:500px; background-color:#ece9f8; background-image:url(http://i.imgur.com/zV5li.jpg); background-position:bottom center; background-repeat:no-repeat; border:3px double #544f8e; padding: 0px 0px 190px 0px; font-family: georgia, sans-serif; font-size:12px; color:#544f8e; line-height:14px; letter-spacing:.5px; text-align:justify;word-spacing:.5px;margin:0 auto;} .sisters .wc {color:#fcfcec; letter-spacing:0px; font-size:10px; font-weight:bold; border-top:3px double #544f8e; text-align:center; padding: 5px 10px 5px 10px; text-transform:uppercase;text-shadow:#544f8e 0px 1px 1px;} .sisters-b {width:500px; margin:auto;} </style>
|
