- Dixie-May Jackson - 12-13-2011
hope this is okay? // +3 // Barn, dec. 10th
as the story is told,
AniWaya was located in a very nice place. The scenery was beautiful and the smell of the ocean all around was definitely something that Dixie loved and missed. Back in Texas she could smell the salt water at all times, her home having been only a few miles off the coast of the Gulf. Despite the frequent tropical storms and hurricanes, her family loved it there and wouldn’t move away unless it was absolutely necessary. Up until the girl and her companion left, there had never been any reason. Dixie didn’t know anymore. Her family could be anywhere in the world, or even dead, and she had no way of knowing about them. This place was perfect, and Dixie could see herself and Wayne living amongst these people someday…if Casa di Cavalieri was to ever disband, that it. AniWaya would be her first and foremost choice of packs to look at, and making friends within was a good idea in her mind. If they ever needed a place to stay, she wanted to insure their safety and ability to attain shelter. Duke seemed to like the location as well, always throwing his head up in the air and whinnying happily as he took in a deep breath of the ocean air. He was covered in sand and burrs from the beach grasses, and needed to be brushed down badly. Dixie yipped at him and started jogging in the direction of where she knew the barn was located. The young stallion snorted and began trotting after her, quickly catching up and nudging her shoulder in a teasing manner. He liked to tease her about being short and slow sometimes, and even though he couldn’t speak high speech, she always understood what he was trying to say. The barn was up ahead, a few horses scattered about outside grazing on the lush grass that grew even as the temperatures began to drop. They were all so gorgeous. Duke gave a soft call to warm them all that they were coming and bucked his hind legs into the air when most of them looked up. Show off… She snorted, reaching out and poking his shoulder a bit roughly before running faster, laughing when she heard the sound of his hoof beats speeding up as well. TEMPLATE BY REVO. <3
- Cheveyo Katal - 12-13-2011
I learned that due to his lowly role in the pack he can't yet have a job or transform out of the lupus stage, just so you know! I had to rework a few things / 542 words
The scent of hay and horses surrounded him, as the midday sun shown through the barn windows, it's rays making the dust of the air sparkle in the light. His brow was furrowed, his mouth parted slightly in panting and his eyes traced the patterns the light made on the barn floor. Bored, he placed paw over paw and sighed. It had been a long morning. .chevvy b {font-weight:bold; color:#fcfdfe; letter-spacing:1px; text-shadow: 0.1em 0.1em 0.2em #000000; } .chevvy p {text-indent:0px; padding:5px 16px; margin:0px;} .chevvy {margin:0px auto; width:450px; background-color:#d2deec; background-image:url(http://i.imgur.com/lyhdi.png); background-position:top center; background-repeat:no-repeat; border:1px solid #0b052c; padding: 270px 0px 7px 0px; font-family: Georgia, serif; font-size:12px; color:#606447; text-shadow: 0.1em 0.1em 0.2em #; letter-spacing:.6px; word-spacing:.9x; line-height:13.3px; text-align:justify;} .chevvy p b:before { content: open-quote; } .chevvy p b:after {content: close-quote; } </style>
- Dixie-May Jackson - 12-16-2011
boooo, sorry for the wait. // +3 // Barn, dec. 10th
as the story is told,
Duke was getting a little bit more snippety and hyper active than normal in the presence of the new horses. His heels kicked up in the air every few running steps, and he even went so far as to stretch his neck out and nip at Dixie’s backside! The small white female yelped and swatted at his face, resulting in a whinnying laugh and his legs to move faster. With each beat, he drew closer and eventually passed her up. He was heading straight for the other equine in the field. Dixie yipped at him sharply, Get your behind back over here right now, Mister! You are getting’ a brush down before you go playin’ with them pretty girls an’ boys, aight? One arm reached out and she grabbed a handful of his tail, tugging sharply and avoiding the hoof he sent flying in her direction. He eventually stopped and bounced around, bumping her with his head a few times as he followed her into the barn. The moment there was shade enough for their eyes to adjust, Duke threw his head up and snorted, shoving his body in front of Dixie’s and stomping his hooves in annoyance. The male wolf standing a few feet away wasn’t known and had surprised them both, causing the small stallion a bit of possessive aggression. Dixie had to duck her head down to see under his neck, resting both hands on his shoulder and rubbing gently. Her light green eyes took in the large wolf, wondering why he was in lupus form in the barn…and if he was even a shifter. Hello there…I’m Dixie. This here is Duke. Sorry if we surprised you a bit, didn’t see or smell ya in here on the way in. She shrugged a little and stroked her fingers through Duke’s mane slowly, trying to calm him down. TEMPLATE BY REVO. <3
