- Samael Lykoi - 06-30-2008
all welcome! :] It was rare to see the Lykoi confined to his pack's territory despite a war raging between Inferni and the wolves. Their old territory had bordered close to the city, but here he had to travel quite a ways in order to find the utopia of urban decay. A hospital had caught his current attention, keeping the coyote within it's white-washed walls for the past few days as he explored in euphoric delirium. Medical books, doctor's tools, and the ward dedicated to the mentally unstable. The Prince had found a new addiction. Medical bag rapping gently against his hip as he walked, scalpel lowered toward the heaving, furry chest of a hare he'd captured and decided would make an excellent test subject. Beady eyes rolling in it's head, Samael made the first incision. This surgery would be beautiful. Not that the creature was ill, but that the Lykoi was curious about the how and the why. What made this creature work? What would make it stop working? And what limits could he test on this mass of living flesh? Needle threaded, he closed the creature up and moved it back into a small cage where he began his observation. Brushing back his hair, he frowned lightly. Within the hour, his subject was dead. Notebook flipped open, he recorded his findings, packed up his belongings and locked up the room. This was his ward and his amusement. No one else would be allowed in, unless they were prepared to become his test subject. Keys slipped into his bag, a florescent light flickered and popped in the ceiling. A backup generator illuminated parts of the hospital, but darkness veiled everything before him. Allowing his eyes to adjust, he headed down the hallway—claws clicking faintly against the linoleum floors and through the quiet corridors.
- Apollo Haddix - 06-30-2008 Hope Samael likes puppy. :o (327)

- Samael Lykoi - 07-05-2008
mm, with bbq sauce. ;] Rain was still falling outside. He could hear the constant pounding of the droplets before he even reached the hospital door. Pushing through, he brushed aside a stray strand of hair that had escaped from the loose ponytail tied behind his head. With inspiration and vision came a new drive to the Lykoi. The broken creature he had been becoming, mind frayed and cracked beyond recognition and relevance would be replaced by a new madman. A true madman, and perhaps more of the creature he was meant to be. Samael was a prince and a savior. A fallen devil living in the shadows and devouring but the weak and the mice was far from the fate destined for such a being. Greatness was his purpose. Greatness was the reason his father had arrived from hell and combined with Kaena to create him. His father had been nothing—a vessel but for the seed to be planted and grow into a plague and a legacy. A monster and a maelstrom to wreak havoc on the world. To leave behind but burned plains and bloodshed. It had been a vision. Light in the darkness, like a star in the blackened skies of nighttime that lead him toward his future. He had fallen prey to mortal affliction and become a disgrace. A prince turned whore—trash to be used and abused before abandon. A lowly prostitute with dreams of grandeur and a thing of amusement. A laughing stock. Hand rose out before him, allowing the raindrops to collect in his palm and drip down his wrist. Wrist and arm scarred with the marks of his betrayal. He was truly a thing of beauty. But this beauty was marred and scarred by thousands of marks that were carved into his flesh, leaving behind the knotted, twisted white scars of broken flesh and weakness. Crimson gaze shifted, noticing a small white creature peering up at the hospital. Crouching down, Samael watched the thing with interest, a smile growing on his lips. It was a kindly look. A fatherly, brotherly expression that belied his true intent. "Here, boy," he said lightly, extending a hand toward the child. "What are you doing outside, all alone?"
- Sirius Revlis - 07-06-2008
http://i25.photobucket.com/albums/c73/p ... work-1.jpg); background-repeat:no-repeat;padding-top;0px;background-position:top"> Sirius was the only pup that was brave enough to roam the city alone...at least, that's what he had thought when he'd started off earlier. He liked to go to the city whenever his father was busiest--it meant that Pilot wouldn't notice it when he slipped away. Sometimes he asked Sirius where he'd been, but it was easy enough to just lie about it. Most days he went "to the border" to sniff for tresspassers. At least, whenever Pilot asked. Sometimes he didn't. He'd gone to see his brother, in Twilight Vale recently, but hadn't recieved the kind of greeting he'd wanted. Usually Apollo was completely submissive to him, and followed him around everywhere like a lost little baby. But his brother had met him head-on. He'd tried to knock some sense into him, but there had been an adult around...so he hadn't been able to. He'd only been able to threaten him a little bit. He approached his younger sibling from around the back of the hospital building, not seeing the adult for a few seconds. "Polly, what's a dumbhead like you doin's out here? I could smellz your stink from acrost' the city!" When his eyes fell upon the stranger he frowned. "And who'z you?" - Apollo Haddix - 07-06-2008 Hi James. Apollo is totally going to be a rebel, rarr. (382)

- Samael Lykoi - 08-15-2008
The puppy moved forward, intrigued by his presence and the hand extended toward him in a welcomg guesture. But before anything else could happen, another child came around the building, speaking loudly and arrogantly toward the first boy. Eyes narrowed, afraid for a moment his potential victim would be chased away, but the pale child turned toward the other, speaking in a language foreign to the coyote. The prince smirked at his words, watching as he moved past him toward the hospital. "Samael," he offered simply to the rust-hued boy. Then, turning toward the first, "Are you not frightened?" he asked quietly, regarding the white wolfling. He could see the look of longing in his eyes—the desire to brave the shadows and explore the depths of the building, and this caused a faint smile to curve the edges of his lips. He would walk willingly into his hands and not even know it. Curiosity killed the cat, or canine in this case. - Apollo Haddix - 09-06-2008 I'm going to continue as if James had Sirius leave. If this thread it too outdated and you want to close it, fine by me. I thought it was rather interesting.

- Samael Lykoi - 09-07-2008
whatever works. :] The pale child longed for adventure and exploration. This amused the coyote. As a child, Samael had been his mother's blind little soldier, doing exactly what she told him and listening only to her words. Her words were law, her teachings the truth. She was his world, the way and the light. She taught him everything he needed to know and molded him into the perfect killing machine. Oh, how he missed her so. He could weep with his longing. This child was blind in a different way. His eyes were open, filled with curiosity and longing, but he didn't know. At least, not yet. The world was a cruel and vicious place, and one could never trust a stranger. They'd all turn on you and kill you in an instant anyway at the first chance given. He smiled his angelic smile, looking for all like a benevolent angel of the light, rather than the prince of darkness he truly was, sated in bloodlust and murder. This boy could sense something of his darkness, though he gave no signs of recognition. A foolish choice on his own part, for it gave the coyote a chance to ensnare him. He watched the rust-hued child turn and walk away, turning his attention back toward his target. He admited his fear. Samael's smile grew. "It's alright to be afraid," he said softly. "Only fools, or those who truly have nothing to fear are not afraid. I doubt you fall into either category." Boy's gaze moved to the door and Samael rose, pushing it open and standing aside for the child. He gave the boy a small nod and a bow, guesting him toward the darkness within.
- Apollo Haddix - 09-09-2008

|
