I feel like such a fucking derp :| Silvano was not a very good knight, especially as his training had long since stopped and his horse was only a year old now. Still a yearling, the horse couldn't be ridden just yet, though his back was slowly being trained up to the horses. So he did his duty as best as he could on his own. Oak had approached him about a patrol to check on Mars and see the man had left entirely. Even though he did not foresee much of a threat, Silvano took his obsidian daggers and stuck them into his belt. It was within easy reach, but the man, again, really doubted that he would have to use them. The village had been relatively deserted, and the man could hardly smell the other man's presence. It was there, but it lingered. It was fading. Mars had to have left. Silvano relaxed a little when the smell failed to get stronger. Oak peered down an alley and approached a building with murky windows. Turning away, he looked down the abandoned street, ignoring the eerie air of absence. He half expected tumbleweeds to roll down the cracking cement. The buildings seemed faded, decaying, but still in relatively good form. About to approach one, Oak called out to him. Silvano turned and caught his smirk. Slightly confused, he saw the name of the place and his own look mimicked the other males. "Maybe. You think we'll find some?" he asked softly as he approached the door. He pushed it gently, and found it slow to budge open. Growling, he shoved it hard and forced it with a clank against the wall. Dust swirled in the path of the doorway, the light showing it in the air. "I almost think we should hold our breaths," he said, rather dismally. .isa-txt {font-family: Cambria, serif; font-size: 14px; line-height:17px; letter-spacing:.5px; word-spacing:1px; margin:0px 25px auto; padding:0px 75px 0px 75px; margin:5px auto; text-align:justify;} .isa-txt .ooc {font-family:verdana, sans-serif; font-size:11px; text-align:center; margin:0px auto; width:500px;} .isa-txt p {text-indent: 25px; margin:0px; padding: 10px 0px 0px 0px;} .isa-txt b {letter-spacing:1px; letter-spacing:-.05em;text-shadow:#fff 0px 0px 1px;font-family:verdana, garamond, serif; font-size:12px;} .isa-txt .line {width:450px; border-bottom:1px dashed #000; margin:0 auto;} </style>
- Oak - 03-06-2012
nahhh come on this will be fun ;D
- Silvano Sadira - 03-09-2012
000
Screw post length! Silvano snorted slightly as the other young man suggested a break. A break from what? Walking? He was amused by the thought, though part of his snort came from inhaling floating dust. What a nuisance. Regardless, the knight nodded, then said, "Might as well. I don't think he's here anymore, anyway." It could be their little reward for doing absolutely nothing. Not that he minded much; breaks were perfectly fine. Hadn't they earned it, even just a little bit? As Oak went behind to look in the backrooms from the doorway, the Sadira brushed past the bar and behind it, eagerly looking for remaining bottles not yet looted by a Dreamer or other canine before the pack as here. Hell, even humans may have looted it back in the day. He crouched, a rather interesting feat considering just how tall he happened to be. Fumbling around, Silvano managed to hit his fingers against a glass bottle neck. Tongue sticking out, he managed to pull it out and set the dusty thing atop the bar with a successful clink. .isa-txt {font-family: Cambria, serif; font-size: 14px; line-height:17px; letter-spacing:.5px; word-spacing:1px; margin:0px 25px auto; padding:0px 75px 0px 75px; margin:5px auto; text-align:justify;} .isa-txt .ooc {font-family:verdana, sans-serif; font-size:11px; text-align:center; margin:0px auto; width:500px;} .isa-txt p {text-indent: 25px; margin:0px; padding: 10px 0px 0px 0px;} .isa-txt b {letter-spacing:1px; letter-spacing:-.05em;text-shadow:#fff 0px 0px 1px;font-family:verdana, garamond, serif; font-size:12px;} .isa-txt .line {width:450px; border-bottom:1px dashed #000; margin:0 auto;} </style>
- Oak - 03-16-2012

- Silvano Sadira - 03-19-2012
000
pooostssss Silvano brushed off the dust on the bottle, revealing the liquid hiding within the human made glass. After they emptied the bottle, maybe not in this particular sitting, they could give it to Mati or Cambria for storing their things. The dust swirled in the air, and the man watched as Oak sat himself down with an air of pomp. He wasn't too much older than the other male, right? Nah, couldn't have been. He had still been a pup when Anu delivered, that much he remembered. Oak was not much younger, so they were still in the same boat. "I think it's more than enough for us two. Unless you're a heavy drinker?" he asked, with a great deal of skepticism. Using his teeth, he ripped out the cork. The motion was a jerking one and he tried hard to keep the liquid inside the newly opened bottle. About to try it, the young man removed it from his lips and then set it before Oak. "You try it," he offered, letting the other man have the honor of the first sampling. .isa-txt {font-family: Cambria, serif; font-size: 14px; line-height:17px; letter-spacing:.5px; word-spacing:1px; margin:0px 25px auto; padding:0px 75px 0px 75px; margin:5px auto; text-align:justify;} .isa-txt .ooc {font-family:verdana, sans-serif; font-size:11px; text-align:center; margin:0px auto; width:500px;} .isa-txt p {text-indent: 25px; margin:0px; padding: 10px 0px 0px 0px;} .isa-txt b {letter-spacing:1px; letter-spacing:-.05em;text-shadow:#fff 0px 0px 1px;font-family:verdana, garamond, serif; font-size:12px;} .isa-txt .line {width:450px; border-bottom:1px dashed #000; margin:0 auto;} </style>
- Oak - 03-20-2012

- Silvano Sadira - 03-20-2012
000
Silvano gave a light chuckle. "I'm pretty sure we'll find more. These humans really liked their drinks." Though he was silenced when the other male began to examine the opened bottle. He suppressed some rolling laughter as Oak suffered through his first taste of alcohol. The bottle clanked onto the bar and Silvano grabbed it to pull it away from Oak as he gulped at the air as a fish out of water. "Well?" asked the Sadira, looking questioningly as Oak calmed down, a little bit of apprehension in his voice if not his eyes. When the other male said it was good, he felt slightly relieved, though he could not hear the lie. Putting the bottle to his lips, the only slightly more experienced Silvano took a short swallow. He had had alcohol once or twice before and knew to expect the burning sensation of the raw potency of alcohol. It came and he carefully swallowed the liquid to minimize the suffering. He set the bottle down and then cleared his throat repeatedly to try to rid himself of the sensation. "Holy.. that's stronger than I thought it'd be," he said, suppressing a light cough. "Do you still think the bottle won't be enough?". .isa-txt {font-family: Cambria, serif; font-size: 14px; line-height:17px; letter-spacing:.5px; word-spacing:1px; margin:0px 25px auto; padding:0px 75px 0px 75px; margin:5px auto; text-align:justify;} .isa-txt .ooc {font-family:verdana, sans-serif; font-size:11px; text-align:center; margin:0px auto; width:500px;} .isa-txt p {text-indent: 25px; margin:0px; padding: 10px 0px 0px 0px;} .isa-txt b {letter-spacing:1px; letter-spacing:-.05em;text-shadow:#fff 0px 0px 1px;font-family:verdana, garamond, serif; font-size:12px;} .isa-txt .line {width:450px; border-bottom:1px dashed #000; margin:0 auto;} </style>
- Oak - 03-20-2012
look at us go!! The drink passed back to him and he took it to his lips once more. He was starting to feel something, but they were both two large males and he knew that humans were smaller than them on average. Humans were small, and even the biggest of them were smaller than Silvano himself. But he was also generally a tall guy, at seven feet. He was a good foot taller than what was considered 'tall' for the humans. Regardless, he was not an experienced drinker and he could hardly say he was a heavyweight when it came to alcohol. His experience was not the best with it, though at least he was with a friend and packmate. "Sure they did," he nodded, leaning on an elbow wedged into the bar counter. A finger pushed the bottle back to the other Dreamer. "I read somewhere that all they did was drink this stuff. Apparently they poisoned their own water supplies in big towns and had to drink stuff like this. Though that wasn't as strong. I don't know why they really liked this stuff." He gave a light burp, instantly covering his mouth at his disgust. "Ugh, really can't see why." .isa-txt {font-family: Cambria, serif; font-size: 14px; line-height:17px; letter-spacing:.5px; word-spacing:1px; margin:0px 25px auto; padding:0px 75px 0px 75px; margin:5px auto; text-align:justify;} .isa-txt .ooc {font-family:verdana, sans-serif; font-size:11px; text-align:center; margin:0px auto; width:500px;} .isa-txt p {text-indent: 25px; margin:0px; padding: 10px 0px 0px 0px;} .isa-txt b {letter-spacing:1px; letter-spacing:-.05em;text-shadow:#fff 0px 0px 1px;font-family:verdana, garamond, serif; font-size:12px;} .isa-txt .line {width:450px; border-bottom:1px dashed #000; margin:0 auto;} </style>
|
