The previous day had been an interesting one. She had, unfortunately, wound up losing any time to hunt and instead taken some of the fish and leftover meat from Salsola’s storage. It was a small and unsatisfying meal, and she had been irritable upon waking. Without Verusha to rely on for a constant stream of cooked meals, Siv had been forced to pick up the slack herself. While the Last Supper had provided a welcome change, the growing number of members also meant there were less leftovers to pick from. A few things she had already gathered; the root-foods and herbs for seasoning. When she caught a deer things would be easier—Siv was confident in her skill as a hunter and ready to find the animals driven away by their parents. She traveled in her Secui form for such a purpose, her size more than enough to allow for an easy kill. It was a hulking thing but not without speed, and her familiarity with Salsola’s territory took her towards the grounds most likely to see deer. Siv was nearing the river when a cry came, questioning and unfamiliar. Dark ears rose boldly into black points, and she quickened her pace to see who had come to their home. The she-wolf’s scent caught on the wind, and to her surprise, she found her across the woman on their side of the river. “What are you doing beyond our borders?” The witch demanded, her head and tail high. In her Secui form she looked like a beast, but her voice was melodic despite the steel laced within it. #siv-thor { font-family:'times new roman', times, serif; font-size:14px; width:95%; margin:0px auto; line-height:18px; } #siv-thor p { text-indent:50px; padding:0; margin:10px 0; } #siv-thor p.siv-img { text-align:center; text-indent:0; font-size:11px; font-style:italic; float:right; margin:5px; } #siv-thor .txtooc { text-align:left; font-size:12px; font-family:georgia, serif; text-transform:none; font-style:italic; font-weight:normal; } #siv-thor .txtooc .word { font-weight:bold; font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-style:normal;} #siv-thor b { letter-spacing:-.5px; font-family: georgia, serif; font-size: 12px; } #siv-thor u { text-decoration: underline; } #siv-thor b.npc { letter-spacing:.5px; font-style:italic; font-weight:normal; } </style>
- Colibri Haki - 03-13-2012
http://i197.photobucket.com/albums/aa22 ... table7.png); background-position: bottom center; background-repeat: no-repeat;"> =) // WC +204 The capricious wind had betrayed her, carrying her scent deeper into the pack territory and masking that of the approaching sentry. It was mere moments before a voice hailed her: sultry, feminine, and dangerous. Before she even turned to see this stranger, Colibri's hackles rose aggressively, lips curling back to bare her fangs without hesitation. When she was younger, she would have submitted immediately, groveling and kowtowing to whatever border guard happened to bump into her. But something had changed in her, something snapped, and she refused to be treated like dirt anymore.
"...I was just curious," she replied, trying to keep her voice steady. She didn't want to show fear to the shadowy beast, nor did she particularly want to invoke her ire. Common sense told her to just apologize and flee, but she was too rebellious to do so. "Didn't know there was a pack way out here." Table by Syd!
A pair of eyes the color of dull amethyst did not fail to see the aggressive stance as it was displayed. Siv responded in kind, her own raven colored fur bristling to sharp spikes along the length of her spine. Despite this her face remained only half-so cruel; a single tooth was bared, a single side of her muzzle was crinkled and pulled back. She had cut her teeth on the enemies of this pack as she never had for the Hearg—this was proof to her that home was now the Thistle Kingdom, and she sought to defend it regardless of the dangers. Not that she regarded this skinny, willowy thing as a threat; Siv could break her as easily as a fawn. Behind her, a thick tail swished and rose, and Siv took stiff-legged steps forward. “You can’t smell, then?” She chided, her tone condescending and haughty. “What sort of foolishness do you expect me to believe?” Siv rumbled a low growl deep in her chest, and yet considered what could be done. Perhaps she could capture her—though skinny, she could provide some sort of use to the pack. Another slave couldn’t hurt, after all. #siv-thor { font-family:'times new roman', times, serif; font-size:14px; width:95%; margin:0px auto; line-height:18px; } #siv-thor p { text-indent:50px; padding:0; margin:10px 0; } #siv-thor p.siv-img { text-align:center; text-indent:0; font-size:11px; font-style:italic; float:right; margin:5px; } #siv-thor .txtooc { text-align:left; font-size:12px; font-family:georgia, serif; text-transform:none; font-style:italic; font-weight:normal; } #siv-thor .txtooc .word { font-weight:bold; font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-style:normal;} #siv-thor b { letter-spacing:-.5px; font-family: georgia, serif; font-size: 12px; } #siv-thor u { text-decoration: underline; } #siv-thor b.npc { letter-spacing:.5px; font-style:italic; font-weight:normal; } </style>
- Colibri Haki - 03-15-2012
http://i197.photobucket.com/albums/aa22 ... table7.png); background-position: bottom center; background-repeat: no-repeat;"> =) If Siv feels the need to take a snap... you are welcome to! // WC +209 The tuft of brown fur that comprised her tail stump flicked in a tight circle. Colibri felt very shabby in comparison to this magnificent stranger, with her luxuriant pelt frosted with silver tips, and her steely eyes flashing like purple gemstones. The halfling wolf was approaching her with an aggressive posture, and she stubbornly held her ground, challenging her to make the first move. Her own growl rumbled faintly in her throat, seething through her gritted teeth. "Back off, giantess, I'm not up to anything!"

There was an accusation thrown, and Siv considered laughing at it. She was hardly a jötunn compared to Larkspur, who towered above even her. Perhaps, though, there was blood in her from some long-lost ancestor of her father’s line. Yet still, what arrogance. Another step; she was almost close enough now, and then she could strike. The hunting tactics learned as a girl applied now to her own brethren, to wolves she no longer saw as equals. A stillness grew in her body, though it was taunt and ready to move. All the signs were obvious. It was the chocolate wolf’s fault for not seeing them. “You came to my home,” she sneered, teeth gleaming. “That makes you my business.” Then there was no warning. Siv’s lips pulled away from her teeth and her tail flagged high. She burst into a run, intending to take the girl by surprise and subdue her. An open maw rushed towards a leg—if Siv could disable the she-wolf, capturing her would be easier. If she did not break a bone, a wound could heal…and a slave had no need of a fully functioning leg anyway. #siv-thor { font-family:'times new roman', times, serif; font-size:14px; width:95%; margin:0px auto; line-height:18px; } #siv-thor p { text-indent:50px; padding:0; margin:10px 0; } #siv-thor p.siv-img { text-align:center; text-indent:0; font-size:11px; font-style:italic; float:right; margin:5px; } #siv-thor .txtooc { text-align:left; font-size:12px; font-family:georgia, serif; text-transform:none; font-style:italic; font-weight:normal; } #siv-thor .txtooc .word { font-weight:bold; font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-style:normal;} #siv-thor b { letter-spacing:-.5px; font-family: georgia, serif; font-size: 12px; } #siv-thor u { text-decoration: underline; } #siv-thor b.npc { letter-spacing:.5px; font-style:italic; font-weight:normal; } </style>
- Colibri Haki - 03-22-2012
http://i197.photobucket.com/albums/aa22 ... table7.png); background-position: bottom center; background-repeat: no-repeat;"> WC +220
Coli had been chased from a pack's borders before; Haku Soul had done the honors when she left Dahlia de Mai, and he had claimed her tail as a payment. If she hadn't been rescued, he would have torn her to shreds. This giantess might not be as intimidating as Haku, but she was certainly powerful and capable of crippling any interlopers like herself. If she had any idea about the way their pack worked, or their concept of slavery, she would not have lingered this long. And there was certainly no chance of anyone coming along to rescue her this time... Colibri caught her breath with a hiss, eyes widening with shock as the attack came. It was so fast, the sentry was just a midnight blur barreling straight at her. Coli could barely react, a cold jolt of terror causing her to stumble backwards from the flashing jaws. Pain burst from her leg, fangs snapping and scraping at her bare skin as she kicked herself free. "Nnghh, get away from me! I want nothing to do with your home!" she squealed, desperation suddenly bright in her blue eyes. She staggered back several paces into the river, the icy water leaching away tendrils of her blood. There was no more time for posturing or bravado; she had to flee.

Capture was her only true goal; she would not kill such a frail and doe-eyed thing. Perhaps Sirius would enjoy her once she was broken. Siv had identified him as a man who sought those willowy, dainty women for his own pleasure. She suspected he had treaded any water he could, though. It would not surprise her to imagine he had his way with all of the women within their encampment—herself excluded, of course. One day she would show him the truth of her magic, but that day was a long time coming. She missed her target, scraping only the fur and not breaking skin. A high pitched yelp announced retreat, but Siv would not have it. As soon as the brown she-wolf began to flee, the dark woman followed. This went on only until she was chest deep in the river and felt it pierce through her thick fur. The shock of cold reminded her, frantically, of her weight. While a capable swimmer, this form made water dangerous. A warning snarl escaped her in frustration as she turned and hurried back to shore. #siv-thor { font-family:'times new roman', times, serif; font-size:14px; width:95%; margin:0px auto; line-height:18px; } #siv-thor p { text-indent:50px; padding:0; margin:10px 0; } #siv-thor p.siv-img { text-align:center; text-indent:0; font-size:11px; font-style:italic; float:right; margin:5px; } #siv-thor .txtooc { text-align:left; font-size:12px; font-family:georgia, serif; text-transform:none; font-style:italic; font-weight:normal; } #siv-thor .txtooc .word { font-weight:bold; font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-style:normal;} #siv-thor b { letter-spacing:-.5px; font-family: georgia, serif; font-size: 12px; } #siv-thor u { text-decoration: underline; } #siv-thor b.npc { letter-spacing:.5px; font-style:italic; font-weight:normal; } </style>
- Colibri Haki - 03-29-2012
http://i197.photobucket.com/albums/aa22 ... table7.png); background-position: bottom center; background-repeat: no-repeat;"> <333 Thaaaank you! //WC +207
