- Terra - 05-18-2012 One of those very useful clarification things. No more NPC problems for me! ... in theory at least XD - 'Souls Assemblage - 05-23-2012 Glad to help, Bria! Some general questions we've gotten regarding NPC procedures: Do Luperci ghosts count as a character's canine companion? Yes. Can youth NPCs be "transferred" to another character, if for example the parent character(s) both die? Yes -- but only when they're still a puppy (less than 7 months). The "transfer" process should be reflected ICly, wherein the adopting character (for example, an adoptive parent) takes up an active role in caring for the yNPC. A yNPC may remain attached to their parent(s) (biological or adoptive, following the above stipulation) indefinitely, but once the yNPC is an adult of 7 months or more, if both parents die or otherwise leave the board, other arrangements must be made (such as becoming a pNPC or a cNPC to another active character). If my character has a cNPC and I decide to put them on aNPC status, does their cNPC also receive aNPC status? Yes, if your character already has a cNPC at the time they were placed on aNPC status, their cNPC may be added as well. "Retroactively" adding NPC status to a cNPC is not permitted (for example, if Jackal has been aNPCed for two months, Jackal's player cannot have Jackal assume a "found puppy" NPC without picking Jackal back up). |
