It was quiet. Silence, in its own way, spoke. Such whispers of dread, of comfort, treachery. Silence said many things, held many promises, broke many a mind. Silence also had the capability of wreaking havoc. Wander had been doing her best to avoid detection from anyone, cruising under the radar and keeping her tattered red cloak on a majority of the time to hide the swell of her belly, far too paranoid to portray excitement, not that she felt any. No, as it seemed, the only emotion that could be expressed about her situation was dread. Grief. Guilt. Fear. Once more she had seated herself outside a short ways from Sirius's quarters, finding herself too distraught and timid to even attempt slinking in through that door. All of this stress certainly wasn't doing any good to the small lives growing within her, but she couldn't bring herself to see a positive to this situation. The dame didn't want to bring life into the mess she was in. She hadn't intended to cause more, and yet now she was responsible for the harm of unborn lives. To make matters worse, it was no longer possible for her to hide that swollen stomach any more, and Sirius had more than likely caught onto her ruse. The blind woman stared earth-wards, before she buried her face into her hands shamefully. Whatever was she to do? Surely, this sort of charade could not be kept up forever. It was only a matter of time before the dame was caught. <style type="text/css"> .wand1ct b {font-weight:bold; color:#83a3bb; text-shadow:#261b31 1px 1px 2px;} .wand1ct p {padding:5px 15px; margin:0px; text-indent:0px;} .wand1ct {margin:0px auto; width:500px; background-color:#4e3b58; background-image:url(http://i.imgur.com/Ztm1t.png); background-position:top center; background-repeat:no-repeat; border:1px solid #452e51; padding:250px 0px 5px 0px; font-family:georgia, sans-serif; font-size:12px; color:#9e8da7; line-height:16px; text-align:justify; border-radius:10px;} .wand1ct .ooc {font-style:italic; font-size:11px; text-align:center;} .wand1ct p b:before { content: open-quote; } .wand1ct p b:after {content: close-quote; } </style>
- Sirius Revlis - 06-16-2012
PP'd Clover a tad, lemme know if it is not alright, Anna love? I figured Siri's growlin' might wake her up. +3 Soft silence ebbed in the air around him. The monarch sat on his throne, and watched, as he had done for days now, the sleeping form of the golden-haired woman, snuggled in the nest of luxurious pelts and furs within his chamber. Her slumber was peaceful - She was startlingly beautiful to him, even in these un-waking hours. His pupils traced the line of her face, her jaw, her throat, the curve of her filled-out body, the fertile swell of her belly. Again, that strange feeling flared in him; Nervous excitement, fierce protection. Energy that poured into his lean body and remained there, without a purpose. It had been some time since the invaders had been defeated, and Salsola existed now in a state of peace; There was no outlet for his aggressions. He dared not hunt long or far from the Ruins, now that Clover's time was nearing. The King was beginning to feel pent-up, frustrated.

Despite the swollen belly that caused her some discomfort in mobility, it did not seem to bother her when her lids finally drifted shut and Clover was whisked away into dreamland. Perhaps it was the overwhelming sense of protection and contentment here that let her sleep without a stir; whatever it was, it made for an easy pregnancy, at least in Clover’s mind. However, the sound of her love’s voice did stir her from sleep now, and Clover blinkingly opened straw colored eyes to survey the room in search for the King. Much to her disappointment she found the chambers empty, but knew Sirius was just beyond the doorway when his sharp words met her ears once again. It was with precise care that she lifted herself from those luxurious pelts and furs Sirius had had assembled for her, aiming to prevent injury to herself and always to keep the children within safe. There needn’t be any accidents. Light foot fall brought the Lykoi woman to the doorway in search of the King, and beyond where she knew she would discover him. Golden gaze found the slave woman, Wander, just beyond where Sirius stood, and she wondered what his purpose in addressing her now was. Though she had heard the tone in his voice, Clover had not picked up on Sirius’ words. Slight concern traced her delicate features as she moved behind the brooding man. She slipped an arm around his torso so that her palm rest against his chest, before gently nuzzling her face against the plane of a shoulder blade. "What is it, my love?" Her voice inquired softly, evidence of her recent slumber clinging to every word. .clover-x02-box {background-image:url(http://i.imgur.com/eJOxs.png); background-repeat:no-repeat; background-position: top center; width:160px; height:250px; float:right; margin:3px; } .clover-x02 {font-family:'trebuchet ms', verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 13px; letter-spacing:0px; word-spacing:2px; text-align: left; margin:0px 25px;} .clover-x02 .ooc {font-style:italic; font-size:11px; text-align:justify; border-bottom:1px dotted #000000; margin:5px auto; width:100%;} .clover-x02 .wc {text-transform: uppercase; font-weight:bold; font-style:normal;} .clover-x02 p { text-indent:50px; padding:0; margin:10px 0; } .clover-x02 b {letter-spacing:1px; font-family:georgia, serif; font-size:12px; letter-spacing:-.05em;} </style>
- Wander - 07-25-2012
:I -late, crappy reply- A lump formed in the dove's throat, and she turned slowly, hark pinning back against her wavy tresses and slim features turned to the king. Wander was caught; a rat in the trap of her own creation, her own foolishness to blame. Milky eyes failed to distinguish his shape from the shadow he stood in, two points of acidic green the only indication to his position. She faltered, hesitated... Every motion was one of reluctance as hands clasped and fidgeted, before she inched her way to him, head low, visage pointed away in avoidance, tail tucking between trembling stilts. Despite her presence of mind denying his command, she complied, slipping out of that cloak. Her slender form carried a swollen belly, signifying the growth occurring within herself. Her head only lowered further, her trembling only increasing, as did her trepidation. The sound of Clover's voice drew that muzzle up again only slightly, hark still tipped back. Wander dared not to speak or voice herself, as the Boss's wrath was not one to be invoked. There was no use apologizing, that much was true. His irritation was not one that could be quelled. <style type="text/css"> .wan3cai b {font-weight:bold; color:#bd93a0; text-shadow:#1c0e13 1px 1px 2px;} .wan3cai p {padding:5px 15px; margin:0px; text-indent:0px;} .wan3cai {margin:0px auto; width:500px; background-color:#625a6a; background-image:url(http://i.imgur.com/1BfhJ.png); background-position:top center; background-repeat:no-repeat; border:1px solid #544b5c; padding:205px 0px 5px 0px; font-family:georgia, sans-serif; font-size:12px; color:#aba2b4; line-height:16px; text-align:justify; border-radius:10px;} .wan3cai .ooc {font-style:italic; font-size:11px; text-align:center;} .wan3cai p b:before { content: open-quote; } .wan3cai p b:after {content: close-quote; } </style>
|
