- Tharin Lupei - 07-02-2012
out of character stuffs He needed to learn how to fight. It was why he'd practiced with Augustus, and why he had escorted Palaydrian and Fayne down to the warrior pack. His first impression of the pack had been pure shock. Considering how New Dawn was the only pack that he'd felt confident enough to approach after learning that luperci existed, he hadn't known what to think of the members. Unlike New Dawn, most of the members were wandering around on two legs. Some wore strange fabrics, others carried these weapons around. His head had been sent spinning, unable to bring himself to enter the fort and be enclosed by the strange stone that was heaped around.

The young buck was growing strong with all the grasses and brush the land provided. Aro had made it a point to make a collar for the deer complete with a name tag that also doubled as information about who the deer is protected by. It was a way to make insure no one ate his pet. The training him and Buck was doing was simple but quite useful to the growing deer. Buck had become quite acclaimatted to the canines and in fact was no longer as fearful. He stood boldly, his confidence beginning to show through. He stood five feet from the large tuxedo male his eyes calmly watching the predator. Aro smirked as he withdrew a wooden practice sword. The adolescent deer kicked at the grown and snorted. Aro crotched down suddenly giving the prey the cue to attack, the hooted creature's head collided with the wooden sword. The giant wolf didn't budge, that didn't wound the deer's confidence one bit he pushed forward snorting as his hooves dug in, his growing mucles rippling beneath his short fur. Aro merely smiled proudly. "Come one push...don't stop...don't give up.." He encouraged his young buck. - Tharin Lupei - 07-06-2012
out of character stuffs The intermingled smell of predator and prey reached Tharin. Thinking he'd come across a hunt he silenced his steps, moving through the land with as little presence as he could. The large wolf came across the sight soon enough, puzzled by it. A deer was striking against a luperci, the luperci just holding his ground as the deer attacked. Tharin wasn't too sure why this was happening. The cries of not giving up worried Tharin. Was the wolf under attack from the deer?

Buck detected it before Aro, his ears swiveled catching the sound of an approach before his wolf owner. Aro heard the growls and knew that Buck couldn't get out of the way in time and Aro acted. His hands dropped from the sword and picked the growing fawn off the ground enough to tackle him to the ground. This took Buck completely off guard sending him into a panic. Aro shushed him harshly, he stilled. Aro's eyes looked sharply at the stranger with heated anger. Obviously, he was a guest of Casa and therefore there was a chance that they were from an allie pack. Luckily, for the stranger. Aro rose, carefully keeping himself between him and Buck. " Excuse me, but who are you!?" It was hard not to snap at the strange wolf but Aro was pissed. He did well to keep himself from growling or straight up attacked as this stranger had just did all the above to his deer. Aro had to think like a true canine, and he understood. Taking in a deep breath and rubbing his eyes with his findex finger and thumb he came to his senses. "You know what...I am sorry...you were just doing what any normal wolf would do. You're not the first wolf to attack or attempt to eat my deer...but obviously his leather collar and tags aren't good enough..." Aro stepped aside but remained on guard. " I am Aro Marino, first born of Jasper Rhiannon -Knight and Ghita Marino...this is Buck..a fawn I picked up a month or so ago....he is under my protection and it is going to remain that way..." - Tharin Lupei - 07-06-2012
out of character stuffs He was surprised when the deer was moved out of the way of his attack by the wolf. He must have been mistaken. Clearly the wolf didn't need his help. Pivoting he turned to see, growing increasingly puzzled by the actions. Thrashing showed the deer's struggle, alerting him to what he thought was a kill. Tharin stood alert, ready to help if it was needed. The struggles halted, but the deer wasn't dead. Confused his ears flattened to his skull, looking at the perfectly unharmed deer. Why wasn't it dead? Why hadn't he killed it?

The situation diffused as quickly as it came up, with a clever tone and wording from Aro. Buck remained behind Aro, close and within safety of the large tudedo wolf that guarded him. Aro smiled a little, but still on edge from having to save Buck, "...it was never my intentions to keep a deer...he isn't even fully grown yet, he is but a fawn that is in his adolescent year...I've taken it upon myself to raise him, I killed his mother, and was going to kill him, but took pity on the fawn as he made no motion to save himself or run. He was too young to understand. I didn't feel it honorable to kill something that can't rightly defend itself.." It was as simple as that in Aro's book. Aro sat himself down, not wanting to tower over the male before him. Buck remained close, and eventually laid himself right beside Aro, his head going onto the lepurci's lap. Aro simply put his hand onto the young deer's head. "So, what has brought you to Casa, Tharin?' .arowolf {background-image:url(http://i.imgur.com/5wuyr.png); background-repeat:no-repeat; background-position:top center; background-color:#ffd6ff; width:500px; margin:0px auto; text-align: justify; padding:360px 0px 5px 0px; color:#877887; font-family:georgia, serif; font-size:11px; line-height:16px; border:1px solid #FFFFFF; outline:1px solid #000000;} .arowolf b {color:#5b3a9c; text-shadow:#877887 1px 1px 2px; letter-spacing:1px;} .arowolf p { text-indent:0px; padding:5px 15px; margin:0px; } .arowolf p.ooc { font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size:11px; } .arowolf .wordcount {letter-spacing:0px; font-size:11px; font-weight:bold; border-top:1px dotted #5b3a9c; text-align:right; padding:0px 5px; text-transform:uppercase; margin:0px 15px 15px 15px;} </style>
- Tharin Lupei - 07-30-2012 Tharin listened to the words, trying to grasp it. He had moved to kill the fawn, but stopped because it wouldn't fight? Tharin ate fawns all the time. Mothers usually not so much, as they were stronger and harder to hunt down. He'd pulled down many fawns though. Killing something that couldn't defend itself was actually the better way to hunt in Tharin's opinion. It lead to less injuries, meaning less sickness and less death. Putting oneself in a position purposely where they could get hurt sounded nonsensical to Tharin. Aro took a seat, Tharin continuing to watch in puzzlement as the deer actually nuzzled into Aro's lap, settling in affectionately. It was possibly the most insane action that he had seen any prey animal do. It made it fairly difficult to focus on what he was being asked. Tharin finally ripped his eyes off the prey and looked to the luperci. I came to learn how to fight against two leggers, so I can defend my pack. He wouldn't leave it defenseless. |
