- Revena Shmit - 07-24-2012 The spoiled young woman finally got tired of traveling from place to place every day and settling in the evening when she found somewhere suitable. Revena found a small abandoned house that had an old couch in it. It wasn't the best situation for her, but it was better than sleeping in dirt and waking up with bugs in her hair. There was also a stream running behind the house which lent her a place to wash her filthy hair and fur which is what she was doing now. The water was chilled and wasn't ideal, but it was better than having a soiled rat's next on top of her head. The chocolate spotted coy-dog was waste deep in the stream, fur standing on end because of the water's temperature. Small shrieks of disapproval filled the air as she bent back to wet her red mane. She washed it as quickly as she could before she waded to the shore, soaked from head to toe. Her face said it all. Brow folded inward and a frown on her lips as she trudged back to her small shack. There were no towels here either to dry herself off so she'd have to make do with the sun. She picked a large rock where the sun beat proudly upon and lay herself over it. The bright sun felt nice on her fur and after a few moments she wasn't cold anymore, still wet, but not cold. Revena felt a world better with her hair washed clean of all debris and fur clear of dirt but still wasn't content with her living situation. With a sigh, she sat up and propped herself up with her arms. Hazel eyes scanned the surrounding area for anything out of place. To her dismay, there was nothing for miles around except more trees, rocks, and plants. Another sigh drew from her lips as she lay back down to stare up at the clouds. She made a game out of it trying to find shapes in them but soon grew bored and threw an arm over her eyes to try and get some sleep, the sun was making her rather sleepy. - Levent Kartal - 07-24-2012
through the madness we find

The soothing sounds of the forest, like the stream nearby, lulled her to sleep. Her thoughts drifted to her home, her family, how everyone did as she pleased. A smile crept onto her lips as she dreamt of the days before she decided to leave. It was nothing like living in the forest with nobody around for miles and no one to do her bidding. A frown took over her smile as she was brought back into reality by a voice in the distance. Her eyes slowly opened, the sun making it difficult to see now that she'd been sleeping. Her vision was blurry as she raised herself to find the source of the stranger and a growl rumbled from her chest as she spotted the man. She blinked a few times before her vision went back to normal and was actually able to see him. He was tall, earthen in color, and handsome. Aside from the strange band around his head which seemed to take away from his appearance rather than add to it. A pleasant grin splayed on her face as she sat up so her feet were dangling off of the rock and she waved to him. Her gaze shifted to the ugly broken down house she'd been calling home and she gave it a disgusted look before she turned back to him. No. I've just been sleeping on the filthy couch inside, ugh. It's a horrid place really. She didn't care about the house, no, this stranger was much more interesting. Revena jumped off of the rock and took a couple steps towards him so she was face to face with the man. She extended a hand and offered him a hand shake, smiling widely at him. He wasn't that tall, but she didn't pay heed to that, instead she focused on his stunning eyes and manly features. Hello. I'm Revena Shmit, it's such a surprise that you found me out here, hopefully a good surprise. She tilted her head in a charming fashion, tail picking up pace behind her. She liked what she saw, hopefully he would stay for a while and they could chat. - Levent Kartal - 07-31-2012
through the madness we find

Her smile disappeared as her liver-colored nose turned to the house, crinkling up in disgust. Her remark about the living condition of the dilapidated building made his grin broaden, but he was careful not to let too much amusement show in his face. Instead, he shoved his hands in his pockets and shrugged his scrawny shoulders. Yeah, I suppose it doesn’t look too nice from the outside, either, he said, tilting his head to look at the building from a different angle. I guess if the couch is filthier than normal that the other stuff inside isn’t in good condition, eh? His blue eyes roamed over her, noting that she was younger than she seemed.
The Turk grinned crookedly as she offered her paw, and he took it with a less-than-firm handshake; he never had been fond of others crushing his fingers, and he wasn’t that strong or dominant to do the same to others. I like to think it’s a good surprise, the man replied, letting his accent give her name a bit more flavor than usual; he’d noted the coy tilt of her head and had somewhat of an idea of what game she was playing at. It’s nice to meet you, Revena. I am Levent Kartal, he added, bowing his head briefly before withdrawing his hand and shoving it carelessly in his pocket again.
So, he went on, smiling toothily, what’s a pretty girl like you doing sleeping out on rocks in broad daylight? Besides the whole couch thing, he amended with a shrug. table by raze; image from wikipedia commons <style>.blarhwav-box {float:right; padding:5px;} .blarhwav .words {font-size:43px; font-family: 'Amatic SC'; text-align:center; line-height:32px; padding:0px 5px 10px; padding:10px 0px 0px;} .blarhwav {font-family:Times New Roman, times, serif; font-size:15px; text-align: left; line-height:20px; margin:0 25px;} .blarhwav p.ooc {font-family:tahoma, sans-serif; font-size:10px; text-align:center; text-indent:0px; padding:15px 5px 10px;} .blarhwav p.ooc + p {padding:0px 5px;} .blarhwav .wc {text-transform: uppercase; font-weight:bold;} .blarhwav p {text-indent: 25px; margin:0px; padding:9px 5px;} .blarhwav b {font-family:Book Antiqua, Palatino, serif; font-size:15px;} .blarhwav b:before { content: open-quote; font-family: georgia, serif; font-size: 15px; } .blarhwav b:after { content: close-quote; font-family: georgia, serif; font-size: 15px; } .blarhwav b.npc { letter-spacing:.5px; font-style:italic; font-weight:normal; } p.template-credit {text-indent:0px; text-align:center; font-size:10px; text-align:center; margin:0px auto;} </style>
|
