- Roland Malone - 08-12-2012 Roland sighed for a bit as he trudged down the path. His legs and back ached a bit from the miles he had put behind him that day. The white and grey furred wolf sighed; then stepped off of the road, to take a seat on a near-by rock. He removed his backpack and took a look around. He didn't see or hear anyone coming, but this road was well-traversed, and travellers were at least semi-frequent. He undid the draw-string on his leather backpack and removed a parcel wrapped in pale yellow cotton cloth, inside was some dried fish. He took a dried fillet out; then sealed the rest, sliding them back into his pack. Roland broke a piece off of the dried fish off and popped it in his mouth, chewing it for a moment before swallowing. His eyes darted to the path, looking to see if anyone was coming. The last few days of travel had been lonely, and he had been craving a good chat with someone. |
