ooc: Please allow X'ies to post and then we be gravy
The travel abroad had been postponed for some time, but when it finally came time to proceed, it was not under the circumstances that Issor would have liked. Perhaps she was selfish for desiring a more leisurely travel with her Lambda companion. A little idle talk to pass the time, to reminisce about their childhood and discuss their ambitions for the future. But hardly two words were spoken between them from the time they left the Family borders to their path taking them through the pass of the Halcyon mountains.
It was apparent why neither spoke as they walked along, X'yrin adorned in Shepard garb while X'ies maintained his modest Lambda appearance. Were it not for the fact this excursion was deemed important, it was likely she would have had to travel alone to speak with the wolves of Anathema. Their relationship had dwindled since the night by the fire and there was no one to blame but herself. Arguably the decisions made should not have mattered given their cultural upbringing, but as she was still learning, time away from the collective stimulated individual growth a realizations that would have otherwise been kept suppressed. Strong ideals that withstood countless generations would have been maintained and preserved innocence would have remained thus. Nothing would be the same as it had been during their youth; a blessed change but as curse just as well.
But the Exultare were renowned for their adaptive abilities and so she took this change of their dynamic in stride. Though it pained her and made their air between them remarkably tense, she attempted time and again to abate it. When he would not speak, she could carry on about her ambitions for this meeting. As they travelled the mountain path, she would take her grey companion by his upper arm and guide him through the paths she often strolled down when she lived within Ichika's territory. She could name the fodder that scurried away from them, and point the landmarks and their significance. All this she did with a soft smile and kind disposition, unwilling to let his chilling demeanor detour her attempts.
The thick wood of the mountain began to thin as she lead the decent along a steep face. Upon reaching level ground, a sound cry drew the woman's attention to a strong black and gold bird making its decent toward them. Still holding onto a grey arm, she lifted her other to take the large vulture upon it until he inched over to make himself comfortable on her fox-fur covered shoulder. If there was a doubt this was her companion animal, the large feathers that adorned her mane would reflect the high gloss of those within the vultures wings. They veiled the woman's hair in black, acting as a dark shroud and crown that ended just above her shoulders while from their ends continued the impressive lengths of autumn red. And the gold of the vulture's breast were reflected upon the female as well as her own natural hues were accented by the dark glow of the feathers.
"Kind of you to join us," she turned her muzzle to the bird with a soft smile and butted her nose affectionately against its beak. It looked back at her indifferently but opened its beak and gently grasped her nose before turning to look outward. "Now that our party is complete..." Again, she spoke in the spirit of continuing the one-sided conversation before lifting her head and calling out to the listening Anatheman ears.

ooc: Form, Optime.. Ever since X'yrin had made her decision X'ies had been forwardly cold towards not just her but everyone in the pack. It was of course not the kind of cold that one could actually tell. After all it was not like the Lambda to be warm per say. His current attitude to everyone was more or less a reset of how it had been in the original days of the pack. Overtime he had gradually warmed and whist he still remained as frosty as the winter chill, time had begun to ware it down to mere frost upon the branches. But now winter had returned in Ernest and X'ies, choosing to separate his personal feelings from duties within the pack, returned to the state of the cold logical Lambda. His brothers re-emergence had helped with that, another witted mind to challenge his allowed him to clear his thoughts and focus on the present, on what needed to be done.
- Aeron Ganesa - 09-02-2012
Word Count :: 000 Welcome Aeron was busy today training Pandora her new crow and Snek one of the many Ravens That Lillith had gathered. She was having to get them used to dealing with members get them to know who was who. Though it would take weeks She knew nothing would be easy. Oh how she hoped but she knew she needed to work hard to get them to par. Aeron used rope to keep both training birds. This kept them tethered to Elzar and only allowed them 50 feet away. This would allow the pair to know who she was and come to their names. She had found it and treats. These things together with using Shou would they be well trained Aeron turned as her ears perked towards the unfamiliar. Shou screeched and sent the other two squawking and calling. Aeron smiled she called the two close to her and urged Elzar forward. the massive horse surged towards where Shou was leading him. She had to admit that she loved the way her team worked and hoped to get the team of guards. She looked at the two that stood at her borders. What can I do for you two? She asked. She sniffed the air trying to figure out who they were. Golden eyes watched the pair waiting for them to speak. quote courtesy of Assassins Creed borther; table by the Mentors! <style>.tree { background-image:url(http://i73.photobucket.com/albums/i235/ ... ntable.png); background-repeat:no-repeat; background-position: bottom center; background-color:#000000; width:400px; margin:0px auto; text-align: left; padding:0px 0px 240px 0px; color:#A9A9A9; font-family:georgia, serif; font-size:12px; line-height:18px; border:1px solid #FFFFFF; outline:1px solid #000000;} .tree b {color:#87CEFA; } .tree p { text-indent:40px; padding:5px 15px; margin:0px; } .tree p.ooc { font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size:11px; } .tree .name { font-size:45px; font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif; text-transform:uppercase; text-align:right; margin:0px 45px 15px 0px; color:#FFFFFF; text-shadow:#000000 2px 2px 1px; } p.tree-credit {text-indent:0px; text-align:center; font-size:10px; font-style:italic; width:425px; text-align:center; margin:0px auto;} </style>
- X'yrin Exultare - 09-03-2012
http://i18.photobucket.com/albums/b137/ ... ndrops.png); background-color:#d9d3cd; background-repeat: no-repeat; background-position: top; padding-bottom: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right:0px; padding-top: 300px; border-radius:15px; -moz-border-radius:15px; -webkit-border-radius:15px; border-bottom-left-radius:15px; border-top-right-radius:15px; -moz-border-bottom-left-radius:15px; -webkit-border-top-right-radius:15px; -moz-border-bottom-left-radius:15px; -webkit-border-top-right-radius:15px;">

But this, she need no say as she turned with purposeful care to look at her companion. The steely talons of the vulture dug into her shoulder but still she ignored the bird in favor of the metaphor in lupine form. Surely her look was enough to convey it all, taken with the eyes of a Shepard of authority, speaking with words that his eyes alone could receive. And then a piercing screech tore her gaze away to the sky were a dark bird claimed the area overhead. Vast wings spanned as the scavenger unfurled with blatant irritability for the atrocious noise of the creature, but made no move to lift from his perch. His wings instead retracted, and head lowered as he peered ahead as the sounds of steps approached and in his fiery sights was an ocher hue.
Amber eyes had spotted the movement as well but did not avert in the face of the other displaying boldly her rank with so subtle a gesture. But it was in etiquette that the Nomad dipped her head then righted herself whilst advancing a step forward. "Goodday to you," she greeted softly, choosing formality over immediately answering the inquiry. "I am X'yrin, a Nomad and Issor of Sangi'lak. I am accompanied by my Family...X'ies of the Nomad's Lambda family. We have come to speak with your leader to establish a trade route with your pack, should he be willing to listen. Might we speak with Alaki?"

- Aeron Ganesa - 09-10-2012
Word Count :: 000 Welcome Aeron had enough on her plate and she was not really looking forward to dealing with who ever the pair was. She began to dismount as the female spoke. Aeron smiled a bit as she landed on her feet Shou moving to perch upon her shoulder. She had to admit she was interested and yet not at the same time. As she listened her posture slightly changed from friendly to a much more dominant state If you want to speak with Alaki I suggest you leave Anathema borders and travel that way. she spoke raising a golden hand pointing to the way they came from. She was the leader and Alaki had left her and all of anathema Naniko too. Aeron herself along with many other members had pledged their lives to the pair to be left behind. But if you wish to speak to the leader, well then X'yrin. I Aeron Ganesa Angela to all of Anathema would speak with you. She spoke golden eyes looking at the woman. I'm not sure what you have that I and my pack may want but we will see. She spoke as she patted the crow who seemed to eye the others with knowing. Or maybe he was uneasy due to their companion. She was unsure he spoke not now and just watched. quote courtesy of Assassins Creed borther; table by the Mentors! <style>.tree { background-image:url(http://i73.photobucket.com/albums/i235/ ... ntable.png); background-repeat:no-repeat; background-position: bottom center; background-color:#000000; width:400px; margin:0px auto; text-align: left; padding:0px 0px 240px 0px; color:#A9A9A9; font-family:georgia, serif; font-size:12px; line-height:18px; border:1px solid #FFFFFF; outline:1px solid #000000;} .tree b {color:#87CEFA; } .tree p { text-indent:40px; padding:5px 15px; margin:0px; } .tree p.ooc { font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size:11px; } .tree .name { font-size:45px; font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif; text-transform:uppercase; text-align:right; margin:0px 45px 15px 0px; color:#FFFFFF; text-shadow:#000000 2px 2px 1px; } p.tree-credit {text-indent:0px; text-align:center; font-size:10px; font-style:italic; width:425px; text-align:center; margin:0px auto;} </style>
- X'yrin Exultare - 09-11-2012
http://i18.photobucket.com/albums/b137/ ... ndrops.png); background-color:#d9d3cd; background-repeat: no-repeat; background-position: top; padding-bottom: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right:0px; padding-top: 300px; border-radius:15px; -moz-border-radius:15px; -webkit-border-radius:15px; border-bottom-left-radius:15px; border-top-right-radius:15px; -moz-border-bottom-left-radius:15px; -webkit-border-top-right-radius:15px; -moz-border-bottom-left-radius:15px; -webkit-border-top-right-radius:15px;">

The evidence of her disconnect from the time of Ichika’s disbandment was becoming more apparent with encounters such as these. As times changed, undoubtedly the conditions of what she knew would change with it, but it was disheartening to see this change first hand. The Nomad had nothing against this newly claimed leader of Anathema, but the apprehension of this change of power was evident by the knot of her brows.
She would have to begin relations again, it looked like. Without the familiarity between herself and Alaki acting as the blueprint for a bond to form, she was left restarting from scratch with something new. And as her eyes scanned the posture of the female, already asserting the air of dominance, it was unlikely it would go smoothly without effort. However, there was no sense to take the encounter pessimistically. New faces tended to lead to new possibilities…and opportunities.
As a show of humility, the Issor replaced her own dominant air with one of ease, slouching a bit as her body fell into a more relaxed state reflected on her companion as well. The hard eye of the bearded vulture turned from the crow to settle on his golden handler, favoring one of his feathers woven into her mane. It was a show of pride that his glossy plumage still hung fast. And raising a gentle claw to his chin, the wolf teased it lightly, affectionately. “If Alaki does not stand as the leader of Anathema…” X’yrin spoke softly, “…then my business if not with him. You stand as its leader… then I will address you. But please…do not assume we have nothing to offer when I have yet to tell you what we keep.” Smiling, she lifted her gaze to the woman’s crow and inched her finger in a little wave. “Your companion is pretty…are you able to speak to it? And it to you?”
Seemingly a diversion from the topic it hand, but instead a means to create a commonality between the two. Act upon the similarities rather than focus on the differences.

- Aeron Ganesa - 09-22-2012
Word Count :: 000 Welcome Aeron had to admit that she was wondering why they had come. Their pack scent on them was a good one but she could tell that the woman had not been leading her pack long. And wasn't this woman once a leader of Ichika before it fell? I have to protect my family jumping to say I'll make trade could hurt them in some way. Everything I take in stride. She spoke as she looked at the woman as she spoke of her crow. Aeron could not help but stroke Shou's head. Shou is a wonderful crow. He speaks to me and I to him. He is an asset to my team. She spoke as the crow nuzzled her. Crows are a huge Asset to those of us in anathema with out them we would not know some of the things we do. She spoke easing her self a bit. She needed to relax a bit. The golden eyes of the vulture appeared that much brighter as if it understood the words of the ocher coyote. However the truth of the matter was far from that. His understanding on the lupine tongue was terribly unrefined, but what he could grasp was certainly not as complex as the ideals of protection and denial. Though what he lacked in recognizing the words of his handler’s tongue, he could make up for with his honed sensitivity to what lived around him. More so, the living perch he stood upon and the fine bristling of her fur at the other female’s words. He would look to her face and admire her eyes lowered to half-mast as she garnished the bearded bird with her affection. But it was a rouse, a misdirection. A shroud to hide the true disappointment for this leader and her decision.
Obviously these efforts were wasted, but there was something she learned from the all too brief engagement. This female was not yet sure of herself if she believed Anathema could not accommodate one, perhaps two members of her own pack to share trade goods or perhaps information. Another note that further bothered the female wolf was the subtle inclination of the uses of her cherished crows. Assets… a strong word for a small yet captivating creature. What could they learn from these birds that they could not from each other, unless in all likelihood it was their ability to soar and repeat what they saw. Eyes in the sky, the Evan’ule would say; their kind calling for ‘spies’. To this, the Nomad’s lips drew further back in a smile, but eyes never strayed from the groomed golden chest of her companion.
The bird danced anxiously on her shoulder, digging his talons deeper in as his handler continued along her line of silence, deep in thought as to how to proceed. But when she did turn from him, his eyes too turned to the female and her crow, his gaze again locking into the glossy black feathers whilst his own began their stretch away from his body. “Well…that is unfortunate.” Her ears perked up then. “That you must protect the pack rather than trade, I mean. Not the use of your companions. Though I must warn you, should your crows find their way over our skies, please attach something to them to show their intentions.” She raised a claw and tapped the vulture’s beak endearingly. “My friend here gets restless and tends to let his claws bring him amusement. I would hate for him to accidently harm one of your pack’s companions within our land. But I shan’t keep you from your duties…”
With smile in place, the Nomad politely dipped her head. “Thank you for your time Aeron of Anathema. Our custom is never to say good bye, but simple ‘We will meet again’. Should the Ancestors will it, perhaps it will be when your lands and people are more readily available to exchange. Goodday.” As she turned, she gently tapped the Lambda’s arm, giving him silent permission for his last assessment. Afterall, they not only came to offer a route of trade but to learn. Even though her part of the mission had failed, there was no reason for his to as well.

ooc: Form, Optime. Again, X'ies was surprised by the mental connection between himself and X'yrin. He didn't really need to say a word and she had pretty much just spelled out every single thought building up. Perhaps there was more to the Lambda in her than he thought, even if it was shrouded and diluted with weakness. But still all these thoughts would need to be processed and assigned a game of their own. This one was the queen of the board, then just who was the King? The crows, they didn't quite warrant a piece, as X'yrin had already established a plan to have the vultures hunt them down. Still he was surprised at the honesty this person was showing, either they had a set sense of self honor or they were incredibly stupid. One did not reveal their spies, at least not without having a back up plan, X'ies wondered at this point if indeed the crows were the true spies, or if they were merely a misdirection. Something to be discussed later.
