- Skye Collins - 09-17-2012
super sorry for the delay! dated until whenever? She was no fool when it came to her pack, and even less than when it came to her family (although to the creamy alpha, those were one in the same). She knew that Robert was in love with Eclipse, even if he had not spoken it out loud to Skye yet; he had been moving things around lately, and she hadn't seen him in a while. It didn't bother her - quite the contrary, however. Although still slightly entrenched into her moody depression, it did her at least some good to know that her son was pulling his weight, and had fallen in love at the same time. She had seen a recent influx of new members, and decided that more of the houses needed to be.. presentable; it was something to do, at least, to occupy her mind away from the recent negative goings-on of the pack, and to prevent herself from becoming useless in her unhappiness. She carried in a wagon some things, scavenged from empty houses as to not clutter them up, leaving them neater and in better shape than before. She happened to be in front of Eclipse's - and, she supposed, Robert's, too - house, which what prompted the thoughts of her son. She sighed as she paused the wagon directly in front of the house and turned, seeing one of the items having been thrown out of the wagon by Ares, one of her two pups who were 'scavenging' with her. Esmeralda let out a mischievous giggle, mimicking her brother by grasping a pencil in her mouth and tossing it out of the wagon. "Careful, now, pups," Skye said, bending to pick up the objects discarded by her mischievous children. She put them back into the wagon, looking at the children, exasperated and tired. .mothjar-fb b {font-weight:bold; color:#94cd7b; letter-spacing:-.5px;} .mothjar-fb .ooc {font-style:italic; padding:3px; text-align:center;} .mothjar-fb .line {width:410px; border-bottom:1px solid #94cd7b; margin:0 auto 3px auto;} .mothjar-fb p {text-indent:0px; padding:5px 15px; margin:0px;} .mothjar-fb {margin:0 auto; width:485px; background-color:#f9f2ec; background-image:url(http://i.imgur.com/k1WBh.png); background-position:top center; background-repeat:no-repeat; border:1px solid #7e7a77; padding:140px 0px 10px 0px; font-family: Georgia, serif; font-size:12px; color:#7e7a77; line-height:14px; letter-spacing:.5px; text-align:justify;} </style>
- Robert Frost Collins - 09-20-2012
(394) dated whenever! 8D <3
- Skye Collins - 09-20-2012
They looked at the house where Robert and Eclipse now lived together, their tongues lolling out of their tiny puppy mouths and their tails wagging with no signs of stopping. At first, Skye assumed they were simply being pups, but then she caught glimpse of something move in the window of the house. Sure enough, a few moments later, Robert emerged, a grin on his face unlike any smile Skye had seen him have when he was younger. He said a greeting to her, and Skye did not smile, but her eyes held warmth and love for her pups - all of them. "Hello, Robert," she said, her tail slowly wagging behind her. Her pups yipped in excitement, attempting to copy the name that she said, but only managing to say "Rah - wer! Rah - wer!" instead. It seemed good enough for them, however, and they repeated it, grinning at their half-brother while doing so. "Having fun with your girlfriend, I see," she teased, winking a her son; some may be awkward and attempt to omit the realities of life, but Skye embraced them.. and occasionally made others uncomfortable with it, something she found quite funny. .mothjar-fb b {font-weight:bold; color:#94cd7b; letter-spacing:-.5px;} .mothjar-fb .ooc {font-style:italic; padding:3px; text-align:center;} .mothjar-fb .line {width:410px; border-bottom:1px solid #94cd7b; margin:0 auto 3px auto;} .mothjar-fb p {text-indent:0px; padding:5px 15px; margin:0px;} .mothjar-fb {margin:0 auto; width:485px; background-color:#f9f2ec; background-image:url(http://i.imgur.com/k1WBh.png); background-position:top center; background-repeat:no-repeat; border:1px solid #7e7a77; padding:140px 0px 10px 0px; font-family: Georgia, serif; font-size:12px; color:#7e7a77; line-height:14px; letter-spacing:.5px; text-align:justify;} </style>
- Robert Frost Collins - 09-20-2012
(301)
- Skye Collins - 09-20-2012
The pups reached out for Robert's nose as he neared closer to them, attempting to grasp it in their tiny toes. She knew Robert was slightly awkward, and although Eclipse had helped him become infinitely more outgoing than he once had been, it was clear that he was still not ready to tackle some subjects head-on. But she did love teasing him sometimes. "Oh, really?" she asked in an exaggerated voice to his denial that Eclipse was his girlfriend. "What is she, then?" Some part of Skye knew, deep down, what he truly meant when he said that she wasn't his girlfriend, but she did not let on that she knew - if Robert was going to be an adult, then he could act like one long enough to tell his mother what he felt. It was all part of growing up, and Skye could help him a bit - but he had to find his own way sometimes as well. Esmeralda whined loudly, reaching out for her half-brother. Skye picked her up, and she giggled, pointing at Robert with a paw. She then offered the small pup to Robert to hold, if he'd like - she was sure that Esmeralda would, at least, as the small pup grinned sloppily, tongue lolling out and sharp baby teeth showing. .mothjar-fb b {font-weight:bold; color:#94cd7b; letter-spacing:-.5px;} .mothjar-fb .ooc {font-style:italic; padding:3px; text-align:center;} .mothjar-fb .line {width:410px; border-bottom:1px solid #94cd7b; margin:0 auto 3px auto;} .mothjar-fb p {text-indent:0px; padding:5px 15px; margin:0px;} .mothjar-fb {margin:0 auto; width:485px; background-color:#f9f2ec; background-image:url(http://i.imgur.com/k1WBh.png); background-position:top center; background-repeat:no-repeat; border:1px solid #7e7a77; padding:140px 0px 10px 0px; font-family: Georgia, serif; font-size:12px; color:#7e7a77; line-height:14px; letter-spacing:.5px; text-align:justify;} </style>
- Robert Frost Collins - 09-23-2012

- Skye Collins - 09-23-2012
awwwwww She cocked her head as her son took her daughter in his hands, seeming to be unsure about how to hold her. But soon enough he held her in his arms as a cradle, and Skye smiled approvingly - Esmeralda approved as well, it seems, as she giggled softly and reached out for Robert's face. Ares whined unhappily in the wagon, and Skye picked him up, nuzzling him with her muzzle; he grinned widely, poking at her nose with a tiny puppy paw. Skye looked at Robert intensely as he said that Eclipse was his everything, and then gave him a soft, motherly smile - she normally was a bit rough or even callous with her son, loving to tease him or attempt to toughen him up, but her countenance now was simply one of a soft, nurturing mother. "I am glad for you, Robert," she said quietly, genuinely. She wished for her son to find happiness, and he had found it in Eclipse, as she had found her own happiness within him. Their love for each other brought light to Skye's clouded heart; she, once, had thought that she had found what they knew, but her mate had left her long ago, not to be seen again. Jazper never had been her mate, nor would he ever - but although Skye was alone, she found solace in knowing that her son Robert was not. .mothjar-fb b {font-weight:bold; color:#94cd7b; letter-spacing:-.5px;} .mothjar-fb .ooc {font-style:italic; padding:3px; text-align:center;} .mothjar-fb .line {width:410px; border-bottom:1px solid #94cd7b; margin:0 auto 3px auto;} .mothjar-fb p {text-indent:0px; padding:5px 15px; margin:0px;} .mothjar-fb {margin:0 auto; width:485px; background-color:#f9f2ec; background-image:url(http://i.imgur.com/k1WBh.png); background-position:top center; background-repeat:no-repeat; border:1px solid #7e7a77; padding:140px 0px 10px 0px; font-family: Georgia, serif; font-size:12px; color:#7e7a77; line-height:14px; letter-spacing:.5px; text-align:justify;} </style>
- Robert Frost Collins - 10-04-2012
/thumps self The man cracked a smile as Emseralda reached for his face, and allowed his somewhat slim muzzle to dip down a bit for his sister to bat at or whatever she wanted to do with his face. It felt weird to be playful with someone else other than Eclipse, but this was a different case; there was some sort of bond between him and his siblings, faint now, but perhaps in time it would become stronger. They could grow to share a special place within him like his mother, littermate, and Eclipse had. He blinked meekly as he awaited her response. He was never one to be too dramatic, and to use such a romantic definition to the woman, it would bound to end in some sort of ridicule, he supposed. But, no jokes came, and instead he was greeted with soft, motherly words. His ears perked up, as if he was not sure he was hearing what he thought he had heard. But, he heard her right, and his unsure smile crept into a lopsided grin, and let out a small, breathy laugh that was nearly silent. He looked back down at his pale sister, and began to poke her, playfully prodding her stomach. "She's just... I don't know how to explain it." He simply didn't, and that was the wonderful part about it. Did he need a reason to love Eclipse other than the obvious, that being she was nearly the most perfect girl? He saw no faults, only her and her alone. He wondered momentarily if Skye knew what he meant he she said he didn't know what to say. .bluebirdy b {font-weight:bold; color:#9cbbe2; letter-spacing:-.5px;} .bluebirdy .ooc {font-style:italic; padding:3px; text-align:center;} .bluebirdy p {text-indent:20px; padding:5px 15px; margin:0px;} .bluebirdy {margin:0 auto; width:485px; background-color:#d8eef7; background-image:url(http://i.imgur.com/eKhIZ.png); background-position:top center; background-repeat:no-repeat; border:1px solid #738085; padding:153px 0px 10px 0px; font-family: Georgia, serif; font-size:12px; color:#738085; line-height:14px; letter-spacing:.5px; text-align:justify;} </style>
- Skye Collins - 10-06-2012
His relief was evident at her lack of teasing or ribbing on him as he gave her a toothy smile as well as a small sigh of relief. Perhaps he had been holding those feelings in from her for a while, and could now finally tell someone, tell her - it was a good thing, a sort of catharsis that released his anxiety and his pain. It was good. She nodded slowly as he said that he just did not know how to explain it; she understood, or at least she did, once upon a time. Once upon a time, when she was still young and naive enough to cry at a coywolf's rejection, to sit upon a log and stare at the glowing lagoon and sigh and pine away. She was still young then, as Robert was now, discovering what it meant to love. "I understand," she said. "You don't have to explain anything. And that's the best part," she said, attempting to lighten her voice and gave Robert a small wink - something she was very good at was concealing emotions and covering them with light, cheerful, or mischievous ones. .mothjar-fb b {font-weight:bold; color:#94cd7b; letter-spacing:-.5px;} .mothjar-fb .ooc {font-style:italic; padding:3px; text-align:center;} .mothjar-fb .line {width:410px; border-bottom:1px solid #94cd7b; margin:0 auto 3px auto;} .mothjar-fb p {text-indent:0px; padding:5px 15px; margin:0px;} .mothjar-fb {margin:0 auto; width:485px; background-color:#f9f2ec; background-image:url(http://i.imgur.com/k1WBh.png); background-position:top center; background-repeat:no-repeat; border:1px solid #7e7a77; padding:140px 0px 10px 0px; font-family: Georgia, serif; font-size:12px; color:#7e7a77; line-height:14px; letter-spacing:.5px; text-align:justify;} </style>
- Robert Frost Collins - 10-14-2012
Skye, stahp. You make me crey. He should have known that his mother would have understood the angle he was coming from. She had loved their father–he need not had to look or remember hard enough to know that. But, while he felt pleased with his own situation, to be reminded of Skye's own suddenly hit him. Caught up in his own little world and happenings, he had all but forgotten his own mother, and the weight that fall on his chest nearly knocked the air out of him. Who was he to be babbling about love to her when his father had basically walked out on them? He glanced down at Emseralda, still ruffling her up with a hand, but was less excitable than moments ago with his movements. He crouched down again by the wagon, and while he cradled his sister in one arm, he rubbed Ares' dark little head, not wanting him to think he was not going to pay any attention to him, "I'm sorry that I have been busy lately..." It was not much of an apology, but it was all he could scrap up without turning too emotional. "Are these guys giving you any trouble lately?" he asked, his muzzle upturning into a smile. "I could watch them a little while whenever you have to go to something." Perhaps he could make up his absence, or at least start at the tip of the iceberg. .bluebirdy b {font-weight:bold; color:#9cbbe2; letter-spacing:-.5px;} .bluebirdy .ooc {font-style:italic; padding:3px; text-align:center;} .bluebirdy p {text-indent:20px; padding:5px 15px; margin:0px;} .bluebirdy {margin:0 auto; width:485px; background-color:#d8eef7; background-image:url(http://i.imgur.com/eKhIZ.png); background-position:top center; background-repeat:no-repeat; border:1px solid #738085; padding:153px 0px 10px 0px; font-family: Georgia, serif; font-size:12px; color:#738085; line-height:14px; letter-spacing:.5px; text-align:justify;} </style>
|
