- Dalgina Wolfe-Denahlii - 10-11-2012
camp georgetown Keldava was very bright and peppery about this trip. They were seeing all kinds of new things. Dalgina was much quieter as she walked close to her sister, wondering what the trip held in store for them. She wasn't sure what would be going on. Keldava had said her art was good for trade, but Dalgina wasn't as confident in her skill. She wanted it to be good enough to trade, but she was still nervous about it. Sighing Dalgina shook her head, pushing such gloomy thoughts away. Deciding to slip away Dalgina turned, leaving the group quietly. They often split up. Their pace was slow enough to let both of them do plenty of wandering, though Keldava did it more than Dalgina did. She was more unsure about going out and exploring new lands. Her hand ran over her knives, hoping that she wouldn't have to use them. She wasn't that good. Tehu swooped down, chirping as he dropped a mouse into her palm. Smiling she petted the kestrel. At least she had him to guard them. <style type="text/css"> .dalummg .space {float:right; height:250px; width:350px;} .dalummg b {font-weight:bold; color:#fffeaf; letter-spacing:1px; text-shadow:#495651 1px 1px 2px;} .dalummg b:before { content: open-quote; font-family: georgia, serif; font-size: 15px; } .dalummg b:after { content: close-quote; font-family: georgia, serif; font-size: 15px; } .dalummg p {padding:5px 15px; margin:0px; text-indent:0px;} .dalummg {margin:0px auto; width:95%; max-width:700px; min-width:500px; background-color:#b9d9cc; background-image:url(http://i.imgur.com/dGkFz.png); background-position:top right; background-repeat:no-repeat; border:1px solid #495651; padding:5px 0px 5px 0px; font-family:georgia; font-size:12px; color:#495651; line-height:16px; border-radius:10px;} .dalummg .ooc {font-style:italic; font-size:11px; text-align:center;} </style>
- Thirteen - 10-11-2012
- Dalgina Wolfe-Denahlii - 10-14-2012
out of character The one thing about where they were was that noises could travel quite far. Even with the land as varied as it was Dalgina could hear the cries of birds that could be a few miles away clearly. Dalgina had eaten the mouse pretty quickly, Tehu staying close by to listen to her praise. He was a pretty vain bird, mainly due to Dalgina treating him as the greatest bird in existence. It didn't matter to her that he hadn't grown as large as she'd expected, ending up smaller than Fawkes and Kelia. The noise that pierced through now was almost eery in the sound. It was perfectly clear, weaving through as if casting a spell on the land. Her steps slowed, and the black female lifted her head, ears straining to listen to it better. Spritely Dalgina crossed the prairie, chasing after the beautiful music. Reaching it she paused, looking at the pale female that played. The instrument appeared strange to her as well. Crouching down Dalgina closed her eyes, letting it swallow her up. Even Tehu was silent, not wanting to interrupt. <style type="text/css"> .dalummg .space {float:right; height:250px; width:350px;} .dalummg b {font-weight:bold; color:#fffeaf; letter-spacing:1px; text-shadow:#495651 1px 1px 2px;} .dalummg b:before { content: open-quote; font-family: georgia, serif; font-size: 15px; } .dalummg b:after { content: close-quote; font-family: georgia, serif; font-size: 15px; } .dalummg p {padding:5px 15px; margin:0px; text-indent:0px;} .dalummg {margin:0px auto; width:95%; max-width:700px; min-width:500px; background-color:#b9d9cc; background-image:url(http://i.imgur.com/dGkFz.png); background-position:top right; background-repeat:no-repeat; border:1px solid #495651; padding:5px 0px 5px 0px; font-family:georgia; font-size:12px; color:#495651; line-height:16px; border-radius:10px;} .dalummg .ooc {font-style:italic; font-size:11px; text-align:center;} </style>
- Thirteen - 10-14-2012
- Dalgina Wolfe-Denahlii - 10-15-2012
out of character The music changed, becoming more painful. It echoed Dalgina's own pain, though the loss the music spoke of was not something she was familiar with. She had known betrayal, and the feeling of being alone, but she hadn't known love the way the flute mourned for it. Tilting her head she kept still, wondering why the stranger was playing such sad music. Was it similar to her art, unable to stop from recreating the horrors that plagued her? It was tragic, being caught in such a cycle. The beauty was painful, instead of calming. The music stopped, and a thick voice spoke out, rumbling. She sounded female, with a soft lilt to her voice. She sounded sad. Dalgina's own response was empty, the emotions pushed and locked away again with the end of the music. She didn't want it to play out. Standing she moved forwards, pushing the thick curtain of hair away from her face. The female had scars over her pale flesh.
