- Ryan de le Poer - 09-26-2008 When I write posts at night they always turn out weird.
SOMEWHERE THERE'S A CRACK IN THE SIDEWALK BIGGER THAN THE SHADOW OF DEATH IN THIS TOWN
- Gabriel de le Poer - 09-29-2008
indent The one thing about the Waste, Gabriel had found he had been right about, was that it was strategic. From where he was laying, half-asleep in the sun, he could see the majority of the northern border. He was worried about Faolin, who had once again seemed to vanish like a red ghost. Talitha was no better, and he half expected that the two of them had run off again. A shadow flickered over his face and he opened his eyes. Marlowe was circling around, as he often did, and following his route his eyes trailed down to the border, and to a bolt of red against the tall grass. indent Puzzled, and unable to determine exactly what it was, Gabriel pushed himself up and made his way down the hill. As he neared, he realized the color was not fur, as he had hoped, but fabric. It belonged to a girl a little older then his own daughter, who seemed to be staring at the sky. “Are you all right?” - Ryan de le Poer - 09-29-2008
SOMEWHERE THERE'S A CRACK IN THE SIDEWALK BIGGER THAN THE SHADOW OF DEATH IN THIS TOWN
- Gabriel de le Poer - 09-29-2008
indent “Gabriel, the leader here,” he said, taking a seat in the grass. It had grown tall during the summer, and reached nearly to his chest in this form. That was another advantage to this place—they could vanish in broad daylight if they so chose. “I suppose my cousin accepted you, then.” Anselm had a knack for finding the stragglers, it seemed. Of course, Gabriel was often in and out of the territory, sometimes for political reasons, other times because he had the need and the desire to break away. - Ryan de le Poer - 10-04-2008
SOMEWHERE THERE'S A CRACK IN THE SIDEWALK BIGGER THAN THE SHADOW OF DEATH IN THIS TOWN
- Gabriel de le Poer - 10-10-2008
indent That news was unexpected. Gabriel blinked, surprised, and studied the girl before him. Her coat pattern was similar to her father’s, but it was the eyes that gave it away. She had Anselm’s eyes, and eyes similar but not quite, as vibrant as Ahren’s. “Well, that’s interesting. I didn’t know he had any kids.” Rolling one shoulder back, he spared a glance to the tree-line and then back to the girl. “How long have you been here?” - Ryan de le Poer - 10-17-2008
SOMEWHERE THERE'S A CRACK IN THE SIDEWALK BIGGER THAN THE SHADOW OF DEATH IN THIS TOWN
|
