- Sankor Koios - 10-20-2008 Sankor had decided to explore the edge of those that had claimed where his family had once lived. He was mildly curious about the pack yet he had seen not one hair of the being since he'd returned. His reunion with Ade hadn't been all sunshine and dasies like he'd pictured and it hurt him that one of the sweet girls he'd left had been changed so drastically by the ways of the world he'd just rolled along with. He had known all his life how his sibling was but until he'd ventured off on his own he had never thought that he would be faced with even assuming that she'd come face to face with new ideas and changes that she would balk at, and yet those changes had invaded her protected little home. The capaccino and midnight hued male strolled on light paws along the borders keeping his eyes open for some member of this new pack, to see just what they were made of and how they operated. Ade hadn't exactly mention that she'd had trouble with them, but the distress of the changes were more than apparent along with the scars to prove the trouble. He'd managed to weasle the issues with the coyotes and hybrids from her about a clan along the base of the mountain filled with what she still believed to be filth. He didn't have the heart to try and correct her or press her to just roll with the ways of the world. To tell her that sometimes parents don't know best and that the world had a lot to teach was something he didn't feel he had a right to preach to the girl who once had been so happy.. and yet he knew her life would be so much easlier if she learned to accept changes.. as he had once been forced to as well. - Naniko D'Angelo - 10-20-2008
- Sankor Koios - 10-21-2008 The stranger who was no stranger to the lands was finally met by a figure before him graced with a snowy pelt and emerald eyes. He smiled as he caught the scent of milk and young upon her, a gentle nod was granted towards the lady as she approached with caution. The stance of authority was present in everything she did and the preditor's gaze would have bore into him if others actions didn't roll off his pelt like water off a seal's back. The smile that graced his lips was exchanged to a outright grin as the male bowed his head gracefully to the woman and spoke softly. "Greeting Ma'am. Just exploring these old lands and seeing what has changed in the past seasons since my childhood." His smile seemed to fade slowly as he gave the woman a wink as he added. "It seems like a lot has, come to think about it." It was apparent now that the lands were occupied and this woman had something to do with the pack that reigned in his old childhood home. There was no hard feelings towards them, only the wistful wish that he could go back there again. The earthy hued boy stretched his strong sturdy limbs out as he felt a creak in his back as he finally rid himself of that pesty little ache along his spine. Settling back down the male gave her a name to finally place with his face, "I'm sorry, the name's Sankor." His eyes twinkled as he asked, "And who might such a rare gem like you be?" The male wasn't exactly interested in finding someone to fill the echoing chamber in his heart but it didn't hurt to know the options that were out there in the great big bright world. - Odebeh - 10-21-2008 excuse the lack of pretty ;_;
His wide, curious, dark red eyes roved over the undergrowth as the young male bounced along the trail leading through the bushes. He didn't often stray far from his home in the mansion, but today he felt different. Earlier he had caught the scent of Naniko and, lo and behold, two of her four puppies. The puppies he had rarely seen since their birth, but Odebeh was becoming fiercely curious and, despite the feeling of betrayal and abandonment he felt on Naniko's behalf since their birth, he wanted to know what was up with them. And what, exactly, they were. Thus, this day, he was moving quickly through the vegetation, following the smell of the puppies and the female that had taken him into Crimson Dreams. He quickly caught sight of them, but as soon as he did, they stopped. Naniko ushered the two pups into hiding for some reason, and carried off elsewhere. Finding this as a prime opportunity to check the pups out, Odebeh waited until he could no longer see Naniko, and slipped away into the bushes. The smell of the puppies was becoming stronger with his approach, until finally the smell was wild and strong, and he could see the leaves of the foliage rustling. He could hear them, too. Anxious little things. Bright eyed, Odebeh pounced at the bush, yapping loudly at the pups with curiosity. He wanted dearly to see their reaction, and how exactly they would look upon him. As a threat? Would they recognize him? Were they smart? Did they know that he, too, was a wolf like them? "HEY! Puppies! Whatcha doin? Come on out from under that bush!" He said loudly, paying little attention to whether or not Naniko and her distraction could hear him. Odebeh sunk to his haunches, pawing wondrously at the bush. - Jazper Rhiannon-Knight - 10-27-2008

- Naniko D'Angelo - 10-31-2008
"I...well, okay." She accepted the first part of what he said with some curiousity. She wanted to be defensive, to not let him know what she was thinking, but Naniko was usually unable to achieve such things. Her emotions were all over the place, open for everyone to see most of the time. And she couldn't help but be curious about this stranger--he was peculiar, and the things he was saying were strange, too. "You used to live here?" It was then that she heard something from behind her, and several things happened at once. She was preparing to go back to see what was going on with the pups, (was there another stranger in the area that she hadn't smelled?!) but she couldn't leave this wolf here. She turned halfway, looking between the two. Then she could see that Jazper was there, standing near the bush that the pups had been hiding near. "I...uhm...I'm Naniko." She was still a little worried about Brooklyn and Mati, and fought the urge to go back to them. They were with Jazper--they were fine. She was just turning back to talk to Sankor again when she felt a nudge against her back, a small nose digging into her fur. "Mommyyyyyyyyyyyy. Ode yelleded!! he yellded and you said to be quiettttt and stay there!!! and unky Jazzy is dere too" Naniko looked back to Sankor, watching him carefully. If he made a move toward them, she would act defensively. At the same time she kept a careful paw on Mati. How had the little one been able to elude Jazper? She was the same color as the dirt beneath their feet...maybe she'd been camoflauged. - Sankor Koios - 11-03-2008 He had caught the scent of milk on the woman and he should have know there were pups close by but he'd tried to ignore the fact.. but it seemed out of nowhere that he wasn't going to be allowed to ignore any factor today. Suddenly it was as if all hell had broken lose across the grounds as the two were bombarded with voices from all over the area. Flicking his ears back as he crouched down low for a moment the male gazed around, trying to figure out of the female was trying to trick him into an ambush, but before she was even able to explain anything a tiny voice behind her seemed to do just that. A silly smile broke out across Sankor's maw as he raised a brow towards Naniko and chuckled. "Did I catch you at a horrible time?" He knew nothing of raising pups, but he knew how much of a handful a full litter could be, his sibling and he had been a test to both parents, and if they were still around they probably would still be just that. He smiled and tried to catch sight of the little owner of the voice that seemed to be shadowing the mother but it was almost useless. Righting himself back up proper the male asked, "How many?" He knew three had been enough for his mother, but it always did amaze him at how one wolf could manage to keep ahold to so many little feet. Not that he wanted to try that anytime soon, but the science behind it just screamed impossible and he was curious to watch real life in motion.. even if that sounds creepy and strange to anyone else. |
