- Mati Church - 03-08-2009
http://i76.photobucket.com/albums/j40/k ... ump/05.png); background-position: top center; background-repeat: no-repeat;"> Siobhan, sugarwoods. Inferni was just to far XD
Slowing, she entered uneasily. The further she ventured, the easier it became, though the trees shadowed her path and blocked the suns direct gaze. Mati liked to have him at her back, knowing that he was helping to scare the darkness away as she explored the unknown. She had gained miles of courage as she grew, but the large pup still wasn’t fearless. The tall creatures swayed in the winter’s heavy wind, tapping fingers and bumping limbs. Violet eyes looked to the sky, wondering if the noises were just that of the rooted beasts, or if there was something else hidden in the wood.
- Siobhan Cavil - 03-08-2009
Purple eyes peered through the dim forest, standing in the shadow of a large pine. Colors danced between the trees, bright and transparent at the same moment. As it come closer her nose to confirm that it was certainly coyote, but her eyes couldn’t agree. What she saw was something from a book she had been looking at, a halfhearted attempt to read, but the pictures were very explanatory. A figure in a red dress, carrying a basket and skipping through the forest. Some of the details were skewed, for Mati didn’t see a skip in her step and the girl wasn’t an alabaster coyote.
This was no bedtime story, but Mati couldn’t help but think of the climax of the tale. It was quiet scary, and confusing. She knew plenty of big wolves that weren’t exactly bad. Gathering her courage the brown tinted girl approached the optime formed lady. Eyeing the dress she wore, Mati kept her distance, just incase she wasn’t looking to company. Hello. Her voice rang through the quiet forest. The questions she had were dangling off the tip of her tongue. But she held it, waiting for the proper time.
- Siobhan Cavil - 03-18-2009
Mati didn’t fear the dressed girl, but as she tucked herself away behind a large tree it seemed that the earthen toned wolfess had sparked a fear in her. She didn’t believe that she was frightening, purple eyes, large paws and barrel chest made her big but far from intimidating.
There was no answer, at least not at first. Mati watched from the short distance between them as the other spun, red eyes hoping to find her. A brow rose, her curiosity growing as she watched. Her tail waved gentle behind her, staying low in neutrality, awoken by exciting interest.
Umm… yes. Over here. Mati moved closer slightly, hoping to get the coyote’s attention. If she had found her, then she mustn’t have seen her yet. Was she looking out for monsters too? Of course there were more pressing answers that were needed.
- Siobhan Cavil - 03-26-2009
As far as she knew, she was alone in these lands. Siobhan knew the names of her family members--she'd been taught them by her mother when she had been very young--but she had never asked the others here if they knew any of them. She was from such a far away place that she didn't think that any of them could have come from this area. It wasn't hard to be bigger than Sio. The only one that she knew who was smaller than her was Zana, the girl she had to live with. But she thought that there was something wrong with Zana...with the way she was growing. Maybe she would always be really small. Siobhan was an adult, now, but she too was rather petite. Even for a coyote. She hadn't been fed enough as a pup, enough to give her the boost that she would need as she grew into adulthood. The girl looked around for a few moments before she finally saw the other against the foresty background. She held onto her basket nervously, moving from foot to foot. Should she come closer? Or would the wolf approach her? Adelaida had told her that wolves and coyotes weren't supposed to get along, but so far she hadn't found a wolf that she hadn't liked. Would this be the one wolf that would try and fight her? She wondered about that each time that she met a new wolf. "Ah...hello. Siobhan? Siobhan is wearing a dress. She found it...in the city. It is red like her eyes. You, wolf...you has been to the city?" - Mati Church - 03-28-2009
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v295/ ... oodles.jpg); background-position: bottom center; background-repeat: no-repeat;">
Mati had always considered herself a nervous pup, but as she watched this Siobhan it looked like there was someone more scared then she. Wanting to get closer for a better look Mati took another step before planting her tail on the ground. She knew how to calm a fearful being, having always been the frightened one in the past. Ears twisted backward slightly, and Mati gave a small smile.
Her words were confusing, and it was hard to understand whom she was talking about. The question was shown clearly on her face, and she took a moment to process the information. Decided that she was talking about herself, Mati gave a small nod. Oh. responding as much as she could until she remembered her question. Um, yes.
The violet eyed girl thought back to the single trip they had made. You go there alone? Where were her mothers? Mati looked around briefly to find that she had no escort, no one for protection and if she was so intimidated by Mati, what if she met all of those monsters Onus fought? - Siobhan Cavil - 04-01-2009
Mati probably wasn't very big compared to other wolves in her pack or other wolves in general, but to Siobhan she seemed very large. And no, she wasn't acting threatening toward her...but she was still very suspicious of wolves, after what she had been told. Adelaida's words still stuck with her, all this time, about the wolves and coyotes. Apparently there had been fights before, or something like that, before she had come here. But should she listen to advice like that? From someone who had grown up in this area? It seemed smart to follow the advice of the wolf, because she knew what went on here. But so far Siobhan hadn't run into any mean wolves...so she wasn't sure. "Yes. Sometimes Siobhan sees Bane there...another wolf, like you. Do you go there alone? Where is you from? You smell good to me--like a sweet smell. Haven sometimes smells like that, that nice smell." Haven was from Crimson Dreams, she remembered. To a coyote who had grown up in Inferni, the wolf packs probably didn't smell too good. But Siobhan thought that they did. - Mati Church - 04-04-2009
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v295/ ... oodles.jpg); background-position: bottom center; background-repeat: no-repeat;"> Though this Siobhan was a coyote, Mati found her far more intriguing then she would ever find her frightening. The tension the stood between coyotes and wolves was a mystery to her, any large and overbearing wolf or yote would scare the timid girl. Maybe she had been sheltered as a pup, but the her imaginary world of monsters was far more frightening then the real world she didn’t even know existed.
No, I don’t think its safe. Onus had told her to stay away, from the male she had met there. To the youth it meant staying away completely. She didn’t believe that she could find anything promising there, but the little white coyotes words were showing her something differently. I’m from Crimson Dreams. Mati spoke as she watched her, curiosity still bubbling in her eyes.
How do you know Haven? wondering if she did actually smell sweet, maybe like flowers, just as she wondered how this little female knew her brother.
- Siobhan Cavil - 04-14-2009
She didn't really mind that Haven was a wolf and that she was a coyote. He was part coyote, and most of the members of Inferni were too. They weren't pure at all. Siobhan knew that she was a pure coyote...she'd been told so by her mother Annei. Her mother had told her all of her relatives, through some grandparent that she had named Voltaire. At least, the ones that Annei had been able to remember. There had been a lot, and Siobhan sometimes didn't remember all the names either. "Siobhan has never had troubles there...but maybe she is just lucky?" The conversation with this wolf was relatively easy. Mati asked questions, and she answered them. Then she asked one and Mati answered it. "With two of us it is safer, maybe?" She said. Mati asked how she knew Haven. She'd very first met Haven a while back, when both of them had been puppies. Now she was an adult in Inferni...but she wasn't sure if he was an adult yet in his pack. She didn't see him too often, maybe once a month or so. "He is Sio's best friend. My favorite one. He is your friend too?" - Mati Church - 04-14-2009

- Siobhan Cavil - 04-15-2009
She didn't have too many friends. Siobhan did like living in Inferni, but there hadn't been too many pups around besides Zana that she could hang out with and make friends with. She was an adult now, but her mind-set was still very much childlike. The coyote was behind on development, having not experienced many things as a youngster. She was only now learning how to hunt for herself, and how to scout. Those were things that Inferni youth were taught right when they left their dens! The coyote tilted her head to the side, perplexed. What had she said that had made this wolf so angry with her? She wasn't a mean coyote, and she hadn't thought that Mati was a mean wolf. Until now, anyway. She would be friends with Haven anyway, even though it seemed like Mati didn't really like that idea. It was Haven't choice! Maybe she didn't know as much about Haven as his sister did...but he was the only friend that she really had, besides Ezekiel. And Zeke was more like family to her. Bane was a good friend, too, she supposed, but he was a wolf and she didn't see him very often. That made Haven her best friend, the fact that she saw him a lot and that she liked him a lot. "He gave Siobhan this necklace" She motioned to the red-stoned necklace that she wore. She had chosen the dress in part because of the necklace...it was the same color. Haven had also given her a teddy bear, which sat in her den. She slept with it most nights. "Siobhan wants to know more about him. About what Haven is like when she is not with him. But...will you not share this with her?" - Mati Church - 04-15-2009

- Siobhan Cavil - 04-15-2009
Mati seemed to think that bad things would happen if she was out by herself, but she'd never run into any problems. Maybe it was the fact that whenever Siobhan went outside of the territory she ran into someone else. Other than the times that she had met up with another wolf or coyote, she didn't really go outside of Inferni. Normally she had a reason to go, to explore some certain territory or meet somebody. She didn't like to leave Ezekiel if she didn't have to. Maybe it would be better if they started walking a little. She was headed back into Inferni, and Mati could come with her maybe. No one would question Mati if she was with Siobhan."Does Mati want to walk with Siobhan? Back at home, she has some food--Siobhan is very hungry. We can talk about Haven on the way there?" She wanted to know all about him. She had noticed that he was really sweet, just like Mati said, and nodded with the other girl's words. A bear? She had never heard of such a creature. What was a bear? It had to be some other creature that lived out here. "Bear? Can you tell Siobhan...what a bear looks like?" Maybe she'd seen one before and didn't even know it. - Mati Church - 04-18-2009

- Siobhan Cavil - 05-03-2009
She listened avidly to the description of the bear, frowning or nodding at the appropriate moments. She couldn't believe that she had never run into one of these creatures, even in the north. Nothing had ever happened to her that was bad, like running into a bear, so she didn't know exactly how Mati was feeling. Everywhere she went everyone had been mostly friendly to her. There had been the time that she'd thought she would have to run away from Adelaida, a wolf from Dahlia de Mai, but things had turned out alright. She just hadn't had a really big scare before, was all. "Maybe the baby's mother wanted to protect it? If it saw it was with someone she didn't know?" She said the thought out loud, starting to walk alongside the Crimson Dreams wolf. She doubted that her mother would have really cared, but maybe this bear's mother would have. "Inferni is a good place to live. Very safe. Gabriel is a good leader--everyone listens to him and does what he wants them to do. Siobhan is having to learn how to fight...but that is ok. She doesn't like it much so far, though." Ezekiel wanted her to be able to defend herself. "It is like this in Crimson Dreams?" - Mati Church - 05-03-2009
