Halo is weird, k? D8 300+

The chuckle caused hard embers to dance in her already lit, bloody gaze. He did not snap back at her in return, and as that was what the woman unconsciously has wished for, she heard her teeth grind together in frustration. She did not want apologies or confessions, she wanted rage and hostility so that she could lash out some more and be cruel to him. She breathed quietly and removed her gaze from the talking male, but the moment Samael’s name was mentioned her eyes focused on him again, fire turned into ice in her surprised glare. Things were supposed to be fine now; Samael and Halo had created a fragile peace between them and she was no longer hunted by his face in her nightmares nearly as often as before. Regardless of this, to think that Cotl had spent time with Samael – to think that the Imaginfer possibly liked the bastard made her blush with new fury and dislike.

A low hiss sounded from the female as Cotl thought Samael seemed like a nice fellow. Her ears flattened fully then, refusing to acknowledge the rest of his words. Why was he sitting here when he could hang out with his far more pleasant friends? ”No, I don’t smoke that shit!” the girl spat at his friendly offer. Had she been more stable emotionally she would have accepted it and even found it pleasant, but she was angry, wanted to be angry and punish him for the mere reason for her to feel temporarily better. She had few friends and this male was one of them, but she did not want to control her anger right now, not when he was blinded by that fucking bastard of an uncle. Dragon tattoo? The girl grimaced and looked down at her fitted half-skirt, at image of the golden dragon twisting through the red lit sky. Bastard!

She stood up from the chair in an instant and glared at him for a few moments more. If he had only known, but would it have mattered? It was her own fault and she was a scared bitch that ruined everything around her. She was shouting at him and she did not even have a valid reason for doing so. Sadness filtered in together with the rage and she suddenly felt terribly vulnerable. She would always be alone; always be lonely.
