Hiiii there! Big Grin Also--awesome, your coyote has my sister's birthday. Big Grin!

The call rose from the borders, catching the Centurion's attention immediately. She was creeping along the westernmost border, remaining ever-vigilant. Her wounds from the battle were beginning to heal; there would be scars, as there always were, but they were nothing new to the Centurion, who was already laced with the old tissue of long-healed wounds. The call came from an unfamiliar voice; this would be no awkward meeting with one intimately familiar to her. The coyote woman had been roaming the earth long enough to know what that meant—it was no mystery when a new coyote showed up on the borders, though whether or not they actually joined Inferni's ranks was generally up to them.

It was exceedingly rare for the coyote clan to turn anyone away, and the hybrid woman was making sure this canine was not ignored. She didn't think the stranger would be—with twenty-two coyotes in their ranks, it was unlikely she was the only one to hear the call; even so, she made her way forth toward the sound, picking up the scent trail after not too long. Her single remaining eye fell upon a coyote, mostly silver with some tawny and rusty hues thrown in for good measure—she appeared to be a more mountainous variety of coyote by her color, but she was small in stature, speaking of the desert where size was concerned. Just the tips of the Centurion's yellowed canines showed in a faint grin, and she spoke, her voice rather dry and raspy as it always was: “Looking for something?” It didn't much matter whether the scarred hybrid already knew the answer or not; newcomers were, of course, permitted to speak their piece.
