It seemed the old building had stood the tests of time quite well. There were some broken windows and other fairly minor repairs needed, but nothing that appeared to harm the integrity of the hotel. There were signs that some work had been done to the place though. All in all it seemed well maintained. "The place has a lot of character." She said with interest. She wondered what the inside looked like.
At first she had not noticed the iron fence that surround the building. Looking up at it's many stories instead of the ground. It wasn't until she was nearly open the gate that it crept into her sight. Once through the gate, they walked to the large main doors. She waited for him to pen the doors, it didn't feel right to let herself in. Other called it home, she would not disrespect that by barging in, not while she a visitor to these lands. As he reached for the door he spoke of his own home. A cabin on the shore. "Your home sounds wonderful! Perhaps someday I can see it, and meet this mate of yours.". Her tone was warm and casual. "She's a lucky gal." She gave Heath a wink, her smile spreading. She had meant it, from what she had seen of the man so far he was a good one.
As the door cracked open Anann held her breath in anticipation of what lie on the other side. A childish notion perhaps, but why shouldn't she enjoy the little things. She had traveled hundreds of miles for this little tour. She had a right to enjoy it and talk the ear off her first canine companion in months. Luckily for Heath the golden fem was starting to run out of words to feel the small silence that encroached here and there.
