Despite her best efforts to assume the best, Anann had expected the inside of the hotel to smell musty like so many of the old buildings that had left behind by the previous civilization. There was no trace of any such scent as she crossed the threshold. The lobby was slightly larger than she expected. So often buildings seemed larger from the inside. Time had taken it's toll on the building outside and in. It was weather and dulled, but majestically so. It had stood the test of time well. So few buildings really survived as well as this one had. At least compared to what Anann was used to back home. Perhaps this region was easier on the old structures.
So perhaps it is you that is the lucky one! Her smile growing broad as she jested with the dark man. In the best of relationships, both individuals should think themselves the lucky one. Walking around the room opposite of him, her eyes roaming the room. Luckily, the large room was fairly empty, letting her legs and eyes roam independently for the most part without the worry of tripping over something.
Her eyes followed her nose. She was first drawn to the strongest scents, bring her to the stairs that obviously seemed to lead to the rooms on the upper levels. It was mingling of scents, obviously a sample of the pack's scent. Heath was cloaked in the scent as well, but the smell of horses and his woman were stronger on him. The most obvious out of the way, her nose was drawn to the scents from the kitchen. She poked her head in the door, taking a quick peek and sniff. There was the faintest hint of healer's herbs and a feminine scent mingling with the smell of past meals and the current stores. The kitchen itself seemed to have anything one might need to prepare a meal.
Pulling her head from the kitchen, Anann shot a glance towards her tour guide. Wanting to make sure she wasn't over stepping her exploring, she caught him in quite the similar situation. What have you got over there? I found the Kitchen! Her tail wagging lightly.
