It was hard for Vieira to ignore what Eris was telling her but she tried to block it out. It was not important to her, Astaroth was dead; Kaena had told her that. But now, with Eris, none of that mattered. He had come back to her mind in nearly full force and every time she mentioned him he would make a sound. He had stepped back from his first appearance, his laughter, and it was hard to block away. Her head twitched at her words and she bit her lips, unable to say anything in response. "No, ma'am," she murmured as quickly as she could when the question had been asked. Her jaw snapped shut when she asked and she waited, wishing the woman to disappear so she could go.
