It was always nice to find a space that could be made into something special. It wasn’t always easy to find, unlike Mati some places didn’t just falling into your lap, and there could be a bit of searching that needed to be done in order to find it. The room she owned had been dusty, cluttered and fairly dank. It had taken some time and lots of work for it to get it cleaned and ready for her to live in. But it was worth it, and she had been able to make it everything she ever needed.
Mati looked down at her sketchbook, finding that what she had would likely be enough to start a painting. The proportions seemed in place, and eyes danced over the landscape once more to memorize the natural patterns of trees and grasses. Flayra spoke, and her eyes roamed back towards her face and Mati questioned with a soft tone, What language is that? She knew that many of the Commander’s children were names in an Italian influence, though her own had little external ethnicity.
