Bleh

Her family? Her mind wandered then to a place far away to a place that held two children of the Wren and a coyote to whom she had given her heart. Yes, they were not at her side. Perhaps she would not see them again. But the world was filled with meetings and departures. However she would long for them, she knew that she must do what was required of her. What became of her family was now in the hands of the vigilante. "They are where I have left them," the warrior simply stated, "in a place far from here." A faint smile seemed to dance upon the quiet lips, but it was not warmed with golden light. She did not think that Onus had been happy, but the two-egg twins had desired to remain, and the Warrior had requested that the coyote stay behind if only to watch over them in their early years. She was thankful that he had complied.

The Warrior offered an imperceptible nod. The Raven clicked his beak, blinking as if moving on to a different thought or memory. "We do not chose what the world shall give us," the a lot melody offered softly. "We simply accept what the world gives and do what we are compelled to do." And that was why she was there, standing before Conor at the boarders of Dahlia de Mai. The white orbs passed briefly over the land behind the golden male. "But nothing is ever beyond repair. Where there is death, life will rise up once more." The white orbs returned to Conor, almost pointedly. It seemed that the tones that sang from the black fae’s throat offered respect for Dahlia’s new leader. Conor had picked up where his father had discarded the broken fragments of the pack. The Warrior’s mind dwelt momentarily upon what it was that had occurred in her absence, but she did not ask. She would know when she was supposed to know, even if that time never came.

For now, she simply wished for the end of that particular Dream and the means to achieve that end. The Warrior would fight for this pack as she once had, for her loyalty was ever adamant. "You will know what to do."
