Mati had felt that every artist needed their mentor. She had had hers, and the French male had been so kind to teach her. Mati had even read in human books that the great artist of many generations had taken lessons or had gone to large schools just for art and painting. They had massive universities just for those with such a talent. Everyone needed their start, everyone needed a teacher. How did anyone ever learn anything without first being taught? They were taught to speak, encouraged and mentored to walk and then shift. At least it had been Mati’s way of growing up. There was someone there to help, and she loved to be that one for the pups now, and she would love to be that wolf for Ghita.

The gray and teal eyed wolfess was moving quickly and nicely through the lesson, figuring exactly how the pencil felt and how it was to make the first lines. It seemed like in a blink of an eye she had half the paper filled. At her tone Mati gave a small chuckle, glad to see that she was indeed having fun with this new project. It was something that could be easily enjoyed, or so Mati believed. They look great. She spoke with a smile, encouraging her to keep going she sat back into the chair.

With a motion on her finger she pointed to the other part of the paper and instructed. Make a box, and a circle and then I’ll show you how to make then look real, with shading. She watched as she did and then placed her finger on the paper one more, Now another box here, Pointing as she said so, and a circle, here. She gave a smile as she watched her make the beginnings of a cube and a cylinder.
