Yay I am actually posting replies actively again. I need to try and get some more Parker threads ^_^. This is a short post, I just wanted to make sure to get something up today.
The cinnamon and sugar girl couldn't contain her excitement as her father congratulated her on her bravery. After stroking her nose with his hand, which she licked several times, he put her on the ground and Parker could not help but spin around, wagging her tail excitedly. She paused for a moment to listen to her father's words of wisdom, making sure to heed every word. Lightning could strike stuff? Tall stuff? Well she wouldn't have to worry about being tall anytime soon, but she would definitely remember that information. If there was one thing Parker loved almost as much as her family, it was learning new stuff, and daddy and mama always had lots of stuff to teach her.
Her excitement slowly dying down, the golden-eyed, Sadira pup turned and looked at the collection of books lining the walls of the room she and her father were standing in. Daddy knew how to read, maybe he could read to her. With another excited wag of her tail and a big grin on her face, the cinnamon toned girl scampered on her quiet paws over to one of the bookshelves. Upon reaching the tremendous collection of literature, she simply sat down amazed by the size of some of the tomes. After taking in what she understood to be an amazing sight, the mute pup turned and faced her father, a quizzical look plastered on her bright, shining face. She wanted to learn to read, though it was kind of hard to learn without talking, so it seemed like she would have to wait for now. That did not mean, however, that she did not want to be read to. Maybe her dad would read her a story or play with her or something like that.
