Anu found something comforting in the older male. His presence was a relief to the Lt. General, even if she could not place the reasoning for the lifted weight. He reminded her of her father in a small way, whom she had not seen in many many years, and perhaps it was this that made Anu feel at ease. Or maybe it was something else. There was a small weight to bear being a leader of a pack, a responsibility that she had not been born and raised for. Her age was something that brought wisdom to the pack, and being the eldest was not always an easy task when enlightenment was needed. But she didn't hold that rank any longer.
His words were brightly spoken and encouraging, and she took the seat that was offered to her and the cup of tea that was handed. Her eyes glanced around, taking in another point of view from the stool. She sipped the warm tea, tasting the earthiness that the leaves gave the water and finding it different then she had expected. It had been easy to smell as it stewed, but now she took in the rising wafts of steam and feeling a slight warmth in her lungs. This is delicious. She commented, still keeping fairly quiet and letting him speak.
At his question she smiled, sipped once more and then gave her description.
