What's in the Fog?

Footsteps fell loudly behind her, signaling that Domonick had given chase. The sound caused her to add a frantic speed to her step, and she nearly stumbled in her panic. She regained her footing quickly, however, and hurried to dart into yet another row of graves. A dull thud sounded out somewhere behind her, presumably when the male had taken a tumble of his own. Lucia finally paused beside a tall gravestone, glancing behind her in search of her pursuer. It seemed that she had lost him once again. She grinned and let out a short laugh of triumph, remaining beside the old headstone for a moment in order to catch her breath. Another point for Lucia. The game was still on then, and there was no time for her to celebrate this small victory.

The girl managed to calm her breathing down quickly enough. She crouched low against the cracked stone, peering around the side of it and glancing around in search of the Praeas. His silhouette was no where in sight through the fog and silence had fallen upon the graveyard once again. It seemed like the male was finally cluing in on her little game of cat and mouse. She had learned her lesson this time though, and knew better than to remain in one spot for too long. She drifted along the row in silence, jade gaze constantly scanning the area for any sign of her playmate. When she reached the end of the row she turned and resumed her pace down the adjacent row, still finding no sign of him. She swung the old bone about idly as she moved through the graveyard, taking care not to knock it against anything. She was back into stealth mode. Come out, come out, wherever you are, she thought, an amused grin returning to her features.
