It was something that Mati had been fighting since she had ventured out into the meadow. And as she lay in the cool water the same feeling was drifting back to her. The two lay in the water as minutes passed, and Mati blinked lazily and lifted her face up to the small streams of sunlight that found their way through the tree’s foliage. It was just enough to warm her face and keep the chill away. Purple eyes looked down at the buttery colored pup, who’s head was beginning to fall in the obvious sleepy manner.
Mati gave her a moment or two more and then nudged her slightly with her ink-hued nose. Time to get going. her voice was soft to only gently keep the puppy from falling asleep in the shallow water and thus catch a cold that she as well as Mati would truly regret. You first.
