Daawww Father Son moments <3

WC: 500+

Looking out at the ocean the father wasn't sure what he was doing, let alone how to approach it. Aro looked up to him in such a way he could have only dreamed his son would but with all this respect came a lot of pressure to say and do the right thing. Since the pups were born Jazper hadn't taken a step out of line. His routine consisted of doing laps around the boarder every early morning, mid day, and night fall. Reading in the library and playing his violin naturally found their way into his days along with the odd trip to Halifax but never had he touched a bottle of alcohol around the pups, or shown them his collection of weapons, or read them a story without a happy ending. He had been determined up till now to keep them his little angels. Now, as he looked at Aro, it was obvious that he had to prepare them for adult life. The violence, the sex, the possible dangers around every corner. The skeletons of wolf reality he had been trying to keep from them for so long.

As his son shifted into an 'at attention' position a smile spread across the warriors lips. His boy was certainly grown. One day, very soon, he would be a proper Knight, a loving warrior and it was his job to expose him to the world without ruining his caring spirit. “I just thought that it was time for another one of our heart to hearts.” His voice was calm and gentle, he never had a problem keeping a calm and under control exterior these days but he had plenty of practice. The father and son hardly had serious talks. Usually they talked about fighting and hunting and training in a light but education based way. They had fun learning and growing as father and son. Today it was time for another serious talk though. It was time Jazper told the boy that it was okay not to do the right thing all the time, a lesson he didn't really want to teach.

His sons half questions caught his attention and brought him back to reality. Golden orbs looked away form the water and to his tuxedo coated boy. “Mhm?” He encouraged, “What do you want me to show you?” He was eager to start talking to Aro about anything as long as the conversation started. It was the starting of conversation that Jazper had always failed to make a strength of his. Chatting away answering questions or asking questions sure, but finding a topic to question or answer was the problem. All he wanted was for his boy to take advantage of his knowledge and skills, to learn everything he could and have a healthy respect for others and himself. He wanted him to have a father figure he could look to for answers, the father he never had. Lucifer had raised him the other half of his childhood but his birth father had taught him the lessons he would never forget. Lucifer just taught him not to end up a drunken loser like him.
