Layla was not the kind of wolf to just abandon one in the middle of a breakdown or show of depression. She was going to do whatever it took to cheer this little soul up. She was glad to see that there was enough spirit in her to get a smile back. As she continued to set up she wondered what it was about this day in particular that was bothering her. She dared not to say anything though figuring that it may be a bit rude. She watched as the coyote took a spot on the blanket and then smiled. She was about to reach into her satchel when she heard her speak.
"That would be great, thanks,"
Layla was so glad that she accepted her offer. It was not often that depressed wolves found their way into her days but she would do what she could to make the best of it. She nodded and bit and then searched through her satchel. Not much for her to search through of course. She pulled out the meat along with some salt just in case it needed a bit of extra seasoning. It was so sad that Layla forgot to pack plates but she did have napkins. She took one and set a piece of meat down on it. She handed it over to her guest before getting a piece for herself. She set her’s down on the blanket for a moment as she stretched out her arms and then took it back into her hands. Before eating, she looked back over to the coyote as she introduced herself.
"My name is Clover,"
Layla smiled and nodded. ”Nice to meet you Clover. My name is Layla.” She began to take a small bite out of her piece of meat as she looked to the sky. She hoped Clover was enjoying her little meal. Layla turned her attention back over to her and was curious as to what had her so down. She tried to start a conversation. ”So Clover, which pack do you belong to?” She knew there was a chance she was a loner but it just seemed more likely to her that she would belong to a pack.
