no bother, thats great thanks! ^^ +31

Searching the room her ears clapped on a scurry of footsteps and a slight noise of rattling, the sort you would get once you shook a pair of keys in a plastic container. Heidi’s eyes fell on an orange and silver coyote; well that’s what he appeared as at first sight. His build was lean and sleek, and his shabby hair that draped over his forehead was smothered down as he wore a colander helmet, silver enthusiastic eyes pointing at her. At first his gaze seemed eager, but then he just smiled and waved at her as if he knew her a hundred times over. Removing a spatula from his mouth he greeted her cheerfully Hallo. the accent struck her as German, or Deutsch as she was taught it. Wollen helfen? he followed.

Now, as far as her translations went, she knew a bit of German, and if she got it right it would be: ‘Hello, want to help? ‘, well that’s the best she could come up with without it being repeated as if it was a spelling test. If she got it wrong, well, she would have to see about that. She stepped forward and closed the door; the hinges squeaked and groaned as they pulled the door back. A soft but firm thud broke the silence as the door thumped into its old frame. This, guy, seemed to have a pot with a collection of items randomly mixed together. Kitchen utensils: towels, corkscrew, tongs, sink plug, whisks, beater and attachments as well a load more cooking items and toilet items, seriously? That’s rank. She thought to herself, putting cooking stuff in with toilet brushes and tampons was unhygienic and just plain nasty. Perhaps he was a child? At this stage she couldn’t tell, his face was smothered by his colander-suppressed mop of shaggy hair.

Perhaps he was a nut case? Perhaps she had just been accepted into a clan of crazy toss pots. Just perhaps, she thought. Maybe there was a perfectly good explanation for this, old items? Moving homes? She tried to conceive a logical solution to the matter in her head. What if there were others in the house? She hoped she could find an adult or something along the lines of order and authority on the premises, to find out where she would stay. Look, maybe she was overreacting a bit, but that was normal, right? First impressions shouldn’t be taken too seriously she thought. She smiled pleasantly and waved back, she edged she might as well return the favour. ” I would love to but im looking for a room?” She paused slightly, as she pointed the top the stairs, before continuing “ Im Heidi, and im new here” she smiled faintly yet again, trying to come across as nice and sweet as possible.
