Xeris smiled when her mate confirmed her findings. She felt a bit proud, and also excited that they would get their task done. "Right, so we should check and make sure there's still adequate supplies," she said. "From the looks of it, there's plenty left." She scanned the room with her golden eyes, thinking about the size of the pack in relation to the amount of crates strewn around and the various items in them. Hopefully they wouldn't ever have to use the emergency supplies soon. Xeris was a bit frightened at the thought, especially when it came to their children.


Pendzez explained the book that he had found. Humans turning into wolves? That was rather strange. But in some ways, she thought, it was the opposite of what her father had been trying to prevent--wolves becoming like humans. Human culture was still very interesting and new to her. "That's interesting," she said, looking back at the book and the characters written on it which were illegible to her. "You'll have to tell me what you find out while reading it. I'd quite like to learn more about the subject."
