Element looked out lazily towards the line of the ocean. This small bay was a comfortable spot for viewing the ocean without wandering to the wide shore, where anyone could come to you. It was right next to Halifax, which was good - it wouldn't take long to walk back to the University where he'd long decided to make his home. In fact, everything was going easily. Peacefully.
This had settled down.
After he had met so many wolves, it was nice to be lazy in paradise. That's what he called this beautiful scene with its setting sun into the ocean - a peaceful paradise. He was just sprawled out into the sand, his tail wrapped around him, his paws directly in front, and his emerald eyes trained on the ocean. It seemed that nothing, nothing, could interrupt this end of day after so many days of nothing. True, there had been some spats, some little troubles. But that was just part of life. He liked Souls, with its intelligent and mostly kind wolves. He liked the beach, with its lapping waves silently and slowly sucking away the sand. And he liked most of all the University, where worlds of imagination lay just waiting for him to discover.
But he had time for that.
He had time for it all.
