It was satisfying to see that her words had at least made him think. She could not know what it was like for him to have lost his sister in such away, no matter how temporary it may be. Anann's life had never been family based, not in the way that the Russo's was. She wanted to tell him that not all women were fragile things in need of protecting, but she knew it would not help cease his worry for his sister. Anann did not expect that he would be forgiving Niro any time soon, no matter in what reason Liliya had for leaving. But what more could one expect when it such a situation. Anann's own brothers would have acted quite similarly, she felt sure. It was perhaps a very good thing for the Russo that her brothers no longer walked in this world.

His advance on her caught her off guard, ears falling back slightly she managed to make a couple step backwards in an attempt to keep the space between them. Stopping suddenly with a sharp gasp and heart pounding in her chest as his hands found hers. Eyes looking to the golden hand clasped in his before rising to meet his own golden orbs. Something in those golden eyes kept her from ripping the hand from his grasp, as had been her initial instinct. His tone was very sincere, but there was just thing she still wasn't clear. "Exactly what part are you apologizing for?" For the gentle touch of his hands, the sweet words, and the press of his lips there was no need to apologize. As he had done that night with assurances that such a thing would not be repeated. Her eyes fell once again to their joined hands, wondering if he had any clue of the significance of his touch. Perhaps she read far to much into it.
