Yay! Finally some action!

Angel had been moving about for some time and had yet to find a meal to contribute to the pack. Jefferson possibly could have been more pleased had she been performing more duties within the pack and possibly that would be a discussion for her to have at some point in time. It had been some time since she had done anything 'important' within the pack. It was something that did not make her proud of course, but she had to do something. It was when she had heard a tiny little howling noise that caught her attention. It was the sound of a pup. A fairly young one at that. Angels ears twitched as she listened carefully. It was a sound of distress and panic. Hopefully nothing had happened. Shifting to her middle form, she abandoned all her tools and made her way to the location which was a far run, but in her middle form she was able to pick up the pace quite a bit. Black paws soon became twice the normal size and her shoulders moved up a couple inches on her back. The neck and head also thickened and lowered down to her ever growing chest and her back legs became thick like yearling pine trees. Teeth became elongated from the lips as she moved to stand on all fours and her body was tilted like a German Shepherd and her head near sat in the middle lining level with her back and her shoulders stood higher than her head. The silver dapples became ever more present from the back of her head down along her back to the base of her tail. Soon, she was off like a breeze with the speed of a Peregrine Falcon diving down atop of its prey.

The trees whipped by her like they were nothing and the enlarged cyan eyes she had were ever brighter as they witnessed what passed around her. Angel could still hear the howl in her ears as she approached and she had perhaps fifteen miles to run if that. She could feel her heart beating fast as she made her way through her valley home and into the open where the grasses bent like nothing as she ran through them. Birds flew to the skies and the feeding deer ran for their lives as her massive bulk passed them as if they were not even moving at all. This mattered not to her as she went to the sound of the pup. Once she entered the other side of the forest she got closer to where the howl was. As soon as she entered, she wondered where it had come from and needed to get a new bearing. Lifting her own head in a deep gutteral howl, she let out her own howl and called to the pup hoping that the young one would hear and not be frightened of her presence.
