He hadnt fully begun his run yet, having only just walked out of the door to the manor he lived in with a multitude of other practically orphaned pups. He was beginning to understand why Nayru had left. When he'd first arrived here, there was never enough people in the manor for him to deal with. But as he became more serious about improving and learning new skills, he had found the house too crowded for his liking. He was hardly ever there and he imagined his room would go to someone who needed it. He hadnt seen Mia around lately and wanted to catch up with the brown and grey ball of energy. Range and Melee and been more active since they turned two months and were set loose on the unsuspecting members of Dahlia. Saul had had a nice day with Magnolia yesterday but it proved the Monroe bunch were also out and about. It made the young man seriously consider building his own house somewhere close by.

He had decided to make 'building a house' his subject of contemplation on his run today, but odd noises were coming from behind him. It seemed that with each paw that kissed the ground a crashing noise came from behind. Trained ears picked up a distinctly masculine note to the voice. Deducing that Gideon, Ascher and Conor's voices were all too deep to be that high and they were also not that immature, Saul worked out that it was likely his adopted nephew was following him. He had wanted to have a nice and peaceful run this morning, but the golden pup seemed to have a different plan for his day. And for a moment Saul was pissed off that his brothers children had ruined his day. But Saul was never a moody male and despite his wanted solitude this morning he couldnt help the smile that washed over his expression.

"What funny noises my steps are making... Maybe I should see whats making them?"

He spoke aloud, humouring Range and his game. With a chuckle, Saul jumped from paw to paw, trying to trick the young Soul male into slipping up. There was no way he could keep up with Saul's jumping motion and the crashing sounds he was making with his mouth. Maybe the young cream and chocolate male would give up and reveal himself in a giggling ball of laughs. If not, Saul would have to go and hunt him out and bring him on his morning run with him- he was sure his nephew would enjoy the beach.
