How she had ever gotten a restful night's sleep before she had moved into Mati's room was beyond her. How had she ever managed to feel comfortable and safe without feeling the Church fey tucked beside her? Routines were never something the Marino had viewed as a negative thing. She much preferred routines to the chaos of not having a plan, though of course random acts of spontaneity didn't turn her off. Cambria just liked having a stable life with things that she could depend on. Ever since they had agreed to become mates, her life had been as stable as a rock and she didn't think that she had ever felt more at peace, not even in her youngest days. She could feel Mati's soft breath on her head and the subtle stretching of her body. The bronze fey's feet moved to cover her own and a smile instantly came to the slender girl's lips.
Cambi breathed in deeply and then sighed, her face nuzzling into the crook of her mate's neck. At the sleepy 'good morning' her tail softly wagged beneath the sheets. "Mmmm, good morning," she replied, equally tired. It was terribly hard to want to get out of bed these days. Not only was it colder outside their covers, but the longer she could stay in their own little world, the happier the Marino was. Her own eyes were still closed, though when Mati's hand moved up her a little chill pricked at her skin and a soft giggle came from her throat. "That tickled." Oceanic orbs opened just a little and her face leaned up to give the other woman a loving lick on her cheek.
