I'm sorry for the wait. <3 I've just had zero oomph for Lolita lately, trying to get it back. D: This will be so cute! <3

Lolita knew that there was no reason for her to mourn the loss of Orchid and Iris any longer, and she knew that her living daughters were her priority, the most important things in her life. The woman no longer shed tears for the small bodies buried beneath the tree by the door, though they would never be forgotten. Maybe someday she would tell Poppy and the other girls more about them. Not much had been said, and she did not think it needed to change, for the girls were still very young. They did not need such sadness in their already complicated lives. They would have enough to deal with while growing up, including a father they knew but lived far away. It would have been easier, she decided, if she had not told Niro about them in the first place, likely.

While she was lost in thought, a movement behind her drew her attention, a small voice and the touch of her daughter's nose warming her heart. Lolita knelt down, crouching on the ground before her daughter, smiling softly. "I'm fine, little love," she said softly. It was not exactly a lie, for the woman could hardly be sad about Orchid and Iris when she was faced with the little rust and white girl she loved so much. "Did you sleep well? Are your sisters still sleeping?" The creamy furred woman smiled fondly at her eldest daughter.
