Sele was getting settled into the area. She had quickly and easily gotten used to the caves. But that could be because there was a maze of tunnels that any who didn't know the area could easily get lost in. She felt protected because of that. Of course she had gone and mapped out a few routes herself. She had to since she had made her home down among the confusing network of connecting paths. But of course she still had to head to the surface from time to time. And this was one of those times. Her pup was running out before her. She was taking him out to play.

"Juju, wait up. Not so fast." She called out to her copper husky child. Her son looked nothing like her since he resembled his father. It was the last tie that she had left to her old life. The only thing she had to remind her of the love that she had lost. So perhaps she was a bit too cautious with him at times. Like now, she didn't want him more than a few steps in front of her. While she felt safe underground she didn't have that same feeling as they made to broach the surface.

"Juju!" She called out to the pup that was approaching three months old when she noticed the head that was poked into the cave. The creamy white female quickly moved to catch up to the pup that had decided to stand up on his hindpaws to try and reach his forepaws up to the trespassing woman's face. It was as Sele moved into the light that leaked into the entrance of the cave that it would be noticed that while she was in her bipedal form she was walking on her hands rather than her feet. But that was simply her method of travel and those that knew her well had become accustomed to it. They had to since she hadn't mastered walking upright on her feet, always getting a sense of vertigo when she tried.

When she caught up to the pup she quickly dropped her feet to the ground in order to sit on her knees sot hat she could pull Juju over to her and deposit him behind her back to keep him safe. Once she had the pup hidden did she focus on the female. "You are trespassing. This land is claimed. These caves as well as the trees surrounding them. What business do you have here?" It was clear that she was wary of the other for she didn't know what the intentions were. But unlike the way some others in the pack would have reacted Sele displayed no aggression towards the other. Rather she had only let her know what she had done wrong and gave her the opportunity to explain herself. There were those that would attack and defend their home without the chance for an explanation to be given. She wouldn't say those in this pack would do it but she had seen it happen before, in another place. She was perhaps one of the kinder few that would be found in this pack, one that wasn't quite as dark and tainted as the rest. Though she had her own defects of course. Especially since she shared blood with everyone that was living in the caves as it was custom to do.
