Melee could see the annoyed look Scorpius had in his bright red eyes. She had no intentions of trying to harm him or do anything to make him feel uncomfortable. She was merely trying to help him get the loose fur out of his teeth. She folded her ears down and backed away a bit when she saw that look. The pup did not want to try anything else and risk annoying him even more, otherwise he may have thought it was a mistake trying to rescue her. She waited until she saw the look of happiness and fun back in his eyes. She liked to see that look considering the pelt and eyes made him look frightening, and at first he was a bit, but not anymore. She slowly sat down in the snow as she listened to him say that he had never heard of Dahlia de Mai. The girl didn’t blame him considering he didn’t look like he had been out here too often, then again, neither had she. This was only her second time outside of the pack and already something bad would have happened if he hadn’t come along. She was sure thankful for that. She just smiled and pointed back the way she had come from. ”Dahlia de Mai back that way. Maybe you can come see it with me some day.”

Melee cocked her head in confusion when Scorpius mentioned the name of his pack. She had never heard of such a name before. She shook her head and looked around the area. ”Never heard of it before. Where is it?” She was a bit taken back when she heard that this pup’s mother was actually the alpha of his pack. She couldn’t help but try to bow and show him a bit more respect. She had no idea of the culture in his pack so she did not know if alphas and their families were to be held in higher respect. In her attempt to bow, she actually did a forward roll and couldn’t help but roll a bit closer to him. ”Opps. I sowwy.” The girl quickly got up and looked to him as she backed away to a more comfortable distance.

Melee moved her ears around as he began to sniff around her. She wondered what he could have been trying to smell for. Perhaps it was the mixture of new scents from the other pack she had been to plus the scent of her own pack. Although she didn’t mind him smelling her, the pup moved back when he came to her birth defect and seemed to focus his attention on it. She didn’t like it when others pointed her out on her birth defect. She wished they could just over look it and accept her for the girl that she was. She watched him place his paws next to hers. The girl stayed silent about it and folded her ears down. Her tail stopped wagging as she turned to show the male a sorrowful look in her eyes, obviously telling him that she didn’t like to talk about it.
