The tree was not as warm or as welcoming as neither the cabin they had shared, nor the warm flooring had they laid upon with the children. Pontiac couldn’t think of anything less than that golden male. The only one that had been able to rob her blind and leave her wanting…No begging for it to happen all over again time after time. He had a way about him, that she knew that he was a good being. So he had a few bumps in his past that made him second guess him-self, but hadn’t they all and also wasn’t that one of the best wonders of love? It was forgiving and kind, and all the wonderful things. Six months ago she wouldn’t have dreamed she would be standing on the borders of her old pack lands looking to find the warmth in his arms. She knew he would never leave Jefferson’s lands and care. That was his teacher and he looked up to him. But Pontiac couldn’t even dream of asking him to join her. However she also felt like it was too much to say they could be mates while they lived in their own packs, granted they couldn’t share the one den, but they could meet every so often just to be near each other. That wasn’t too much to think about was it?

Hearing her name come out of his mouth she felt her heart jump, she wanted to hear him say it, she wanted to see him but she wasn’t sure if she was ready to face him, she wasn’t sure if he would still want to see her after this time gone by, there was no way that he was still single and didn’t already find another female, he was a wonderful guy. A guy that she dreamed about. She moved with her shaking body as she moved out of her temporary resting spot up in the tree she could feel the weakness in her legs as she slid down the tree. Letting go of the tree she pushed off, jumping down she let her legs bend as she fell over top of her bent legs, standing up the female pushed her auburn hair off the side of her face, as she placed her hat back upon her head. ”Ty?” She pushed down upon her hat a bit as she felt a tightness in her chest.”I need to tell you something. “ Weather or not he wanted to hear it she had to confess to him that she was still madly in love with him, She just wasn’t sure she was able to take him saying that he wasn’t in love with her back. She could only hope that he would have at least have some small feelings for her to, like she thought…Hope. That all she had any more.
