Valinta smiled. Finally. She could prove to Shawchert that she wasn't just some stupid little idiot. Or too young to know how life worked. Or however he thought of her.
Besides, hammering? She could hammer like a boss.
Valinta realized that while Shawchert seemed to try and get to know everyone, he had made no such attempt with her. Sky Katruk had, though, reaching out to the younger girl to be friends. Hell, she knew Skye more than she knew her own alpha, and she should've known him like he was her brother.
But she didn't, and that slightly disappointed Valinta.
Taking the hammer, Valinta bit it while she scaled the tree to get to the roof. Grabbing a nail, as well, Valinta hammered it into the spot Shaw pointed out.
When she finished, she climbed back down and gave him the hammer. "I'm done." she said, and hoped he'd be shocked by her intense hammering skills.
