Shh, it's a secret! (part 1)

WC: 561 Thread will start off here, and probably end up being short so we'll go to Halifax after. :3 Sorry for the ramblings.

Normal day! Yay! Sky wasn't feeling over joyous or overly depressed. She was happy. She was calm. She was simply relaxed and totally free of all bad or excited emotions. The annoying voice in her head was silent today, meaning she was completely in control and totally sane of her instincts and desires. Why was all of this so nice and calm? Why else. Shawchert was nowhere to be seen, and Orin was spotted at her own house not too long ago. They were seperate, and thus, Sky was calm and collected, not at all worried about her chances with the drop-dead alpha she'd recently confessed to. Life was good. Yes, yes it was.

Sky was dressed in a cute outfit today. Usual dark, boot-cut jeans were worn on her legs, and a button-up black blouse was decorated in a silver necktie, loose and small, perfect for women. Her hair was loose today, bangs held back with a bandana, silver and black to match her outfit. The only difference in what she would normally wear was the cufflings wrapped around her feet, acting like socks in a way. They didn't cover her paws very much, allowing her pads and claws to be free of the black cloth, but they went up to about her shins, and they actually looked very nice.

One thing noticable about the wolfdog today, other than her outfit, was the fact that she was wearing glasses. Of course, it made sense; girl had one of her books out on the front deck, and she was happy to sit and read away. The silver-framed reading specs were cute, and looked good on her. Blue eyes scanned each page of her little book, part of a series of textbooks she'd found near the hospital in Helifax last time she'd been by. This one was telling her how to preform a hysterectomy, and though Sky doubted she'd ever need to, it was still nice to know how, just in case it ever came up.

As weird as her human-related obsession was, girl had read up enough of medical procedures that she could probably open up her own clinic if the chance ever came. Medicine was a huge hobby for the wolfdog, even if she didn't practice it. The thought of helping to save someone's life, or to mend them so they wouldn't be crippled was one she loved dearly. Actually, she'd taken up medical studies after her mate had died. Later she'd learned that his death was the result of a tumor in his chest cavity, which led to blood poisoning and liver failure, taking him out slowly as he slept. Ick.

This thought didn't cross her mind often anymore. Now she knew what to do to make sure it didn't happen again, and she knew that somewhere, her beloved Revoldo was watching over her shoulder, keeping her on the right track when he could. Girl had loved him dearly when he was alive, and still held firm to his memory, but now she'd moved on with her life. She had someone else in mind for a potential mate; if Shawchert would ever get his ass in gear and stop pitying himself. Sigh~ Life was hard for the hybrid. Luckily, she had books! The perfect form of therepy for a little nerd like herself. Ah, sweet paper and ink. Perfection.
