This is longer then I've writen in a long time(Word Count:745)

Snow covered the ground untouched by any creature that might be wandering the land. That was in till Valkyrie came and left her paw prints in the snow. She didn't really mind the snow, it was better then rain, and it couuld be useful. Like, for example, if you where hunting and saw rabbit tracks in the snow all you would have to do is follow them to catch you a rabbit. That wasn't what she was out to do, however. She was trying to get a feel for land. She had been born here and had lived here, but when she came back she found that she had forgoten some of the important land marks and the basic lay out of the land. She had thought about asking someone to show her around and introduce her to the new land marks that had been claimed when they had to shift there territory west due to the burning of there old territory, but she didn't know many coyotes here and the ones she did know were either busy or simply not the type to show her around. Her paws crunched in the snow as she countinued walking. She was in lupus form, a form you didn't see her in very often, but she found it easier to travel in the snow in this form instead of her optime form, which she was seen in most. As far as she knew everyone in the clan was a luprici, but many didn't use there optime form much unlike her.

A skull layed in front of her staring off the other way. Had she already reached the border? She didn't think she had been walking that long. Maybe she had just lost track of time, which she seemed to do often. Well, while she's here she might as well check the borders expecally with the recent tension between them and Anathema. She turned and began walking down the border ears and eyes focused on the other side where she would expect a loner or someone thats not a pack member to be. She worked on keeping her feet quiet so she would hear them before they heard her. She hadn't patroled in a while, so she was a little rusty and maybe a little loud. In fact, she didn't think she had ever really patroled. She was more the type to provied mental support not physical support, but she would do what she could expecally since her birthday was right around the corner. In about four days she would be two. She didn't expect anything big or grand for her birthday, she didn't even expect any presents being back in the clan was enough.

She quickly turned her head away from the border and to the land in front of her when the sound of crounching snow brushed past her ear. Was someone trespasing or was it just another member of the clan patroling like she was. There was only one way to find out. She began walking towards the sound completely forgeting about being quiet and stealthy like a experenced coyote would be. She was still young only days away from being two, and was still learning about the world She thought it was a place of discovery and wonder, but, as any experenced coyote would think, it was a dark and unfogiving place. She would learn, though, in time. The probability of it being someone that wished to hurt her didn't even cross her mind. She dodged a tree as the sound became louder and more distinct. The foot falls were heavy meaning that it was either a big wolf or a coyote in its Secui or Optime form. She really didn't have a prefrence on which one it was. She wasn't scared of those in Secui or Optime form and she didn't dislike wolves. She did, however, hope it wasn't a trespasser that she would have to chase off.

When she got close she found that she was behind the caniane, which now looked to be a wolf. She sniffed the air again this time picking one up. It smelled a member of Inferni, but still looked like a wolf. That didn't matter though, he was still a member of Inferni. She walked up to him and spook. "Hello, may I join you?" It was always funner to patrol with some else instead of just by yourself. You could talk and two heads were always better then one.
