Skye turned as someone called out, warning her against tripping on tidepools. And what do you know - just as he said the words, Skye shifted her feet and tripped on one of the holes. "Eep!" she cried, throwing out her hands to prevent herself from getting a squashed nose. She fell in the sand, her palms getting sandy and her clothes getting sandier. Grumbling, she stood and dusted herself off. Her foot stung a little - it had fallen on some spiky thing in the tidal pool - but otherwise she was okay.

She glanced up at the man who had given her the warning and felt a bit foolish - he had warned her and she had done just the thing he warned against. "Uh...thanks," she said a little belatedly. She then gave him a grin, hoping he wouldn't think she was weird.
