Sorry for the wait and shortness (Word Count- 421)

Hunting did sound good right now. She hadn't hunted with anyone since about five months ago, which was when she decided to leave her little group and head home. She could hunt decent, so during that time she ate decent, which was about a rabbit every other day. Even though she was capable at hunting by herself she had always liked hunting with others instead. That way you had double the chance to catch something and you didn't waste your energy at failed attempts. She looked around excitedly for any little foot print in the snow that would point towards her next meal. She didn't manage to spot any but she expected that they would be able to smell some if they tried for a little bit. If they couldn't they could always turn around, since they had already past some earlier. They wouldn't be as fresh though, since they were older then anything they would smell out.

She did think that he had a reason to be thanked. He had said something nice to her, something she usually only does to others. She didn't say anything in response, however, because she didn't have anything to say. Nothing she could think of seemed to fit in the situation, so she didn't say anything. The next thing he said set of the competitive spirit in her. If she could keep up with him? Wouldn't it be the other way around? She was quick and sure footed and he also looked quick, but she was completely built for it unlike him. She was small and petite and he was larger and held more strength. She had always been faster then the others in the clan, well most of them. There were a few that were faster then her, but not many.

She turned her head towards Itzal before speaking. "I think I could handle hunting with you." She said it like she said almost everything sweet and innocent. "I think we should finish patrolling first, since we are already close to the end of this part of the border." With that she turned her gaze back to the other side of the border. The snow still remained untouched and the air remained still and silent. It was as if the whole world was sleeping and she was simply watching it. She worked on keeping her feet quiet and found that she could make herself quiet. Not as quiet as a rabbit or the wolf next to her, but still quiet
