By the way, sorry. It's extremely short, but I don't have much to say. =/
Toklo eyed the female in front of him, hopingly unnoticably. He sized her up subconsiously. If she was planning to remove him from the perimiter by force, he hoped he could take her. He knew he could. She was petite in size, and lacking in muscles other than lean, small muscles that a female has. Males usually were more...largly built. This female even more so since she was a descendant of coyotes- if she was from the pack land he was beleived to be on. The land on which they stood belonged solely to Inferni.
Toklo had heard many rumors of wolves being mercilessly killed near their land. Toklo shivered slightly, imagining being murdered like his family. Toklo took a tentative, small step away from the female, hoping the distance he had put between them was unnoticable. Maybe he could slip away into the night, never to be seen again. He could do that. He was a very fast runner to say the least. He could easily outrun her in Lupus form - he was the quickest on his feet in this form. He could easily outrun her.
He was about to do just that when another female stepped from the shadows, unexpected and unnannounced. His ears fell back against his head again. Caught off guard, he was riled. His head snapped in her direction and his eyes narrowed. He almost growled, but he quickly restrained himself, remembering how quickly members of a pack could gather. If any more arrived, he would be a goner. He could fight off two if it came to that, but any more could be a challenge.
He had assumed she was in the same pack as the wolf who had arrived prior, but he lifted his head slightly to sniff the wind wafting down to him from her. He was surprised. She smelled not of Inferni - like the wolf whom he was standing next to, but rather, another pack. Oh great, He hissed to himself. A pack convention, he thought sourly. And he was stuck in the middle of it. This ought to be bad.
